 This is the part of the huge laboratory of Squad 12. It is split of into different sections of study. This is for Biology Examinations and Experiments. As members of Squad 12, you all can come here and find information on studies down on the human world and dissections of things taken from the world of the living.

 Tystra had appeared outside the labs of Squad 12. He had returned home once more. He smelled the air for a bit as the labs didn't age a bit. The walls were like chrome glass and the smell of burners heating up was almost like jasmine to him. "I...can't believe it..." He went to the door of the Experiments lab and slowly opened. The room lite up as lights began to brighten up the room. "Wow..." He turned to Dani with his eyes tearing up as they changed to the color green. He really missed this place.

Dani followed Tystra until they arrived at Squad 12. Wow, the place already seemed so different. She watched his reactions bit by bit and a grin spread over her face. This was amazing.
"Is it nice to be back?"

Tystra shed a single tear. The tear traveled down his right cheek as he spoke. "You have no idea Dani..." He turned back and started to walk around the lab. He put his hand on one of the tables and slowly glided it across. It was almost like a dream. He looked up at the chrome on the ceiling. He could see himself and how much he changed. He shook his head as a sign of needing to snap back into reality. This was not the time to go back to the past. They needed to get to work. "Okay Dani, did Sendo ever start working on Hoshi's arm?"

She smiled happily as he began to meander around the labs. There was just something magical about this place to all members of the squad. The metallic scent, the hum of the machines in the background, the clean air. Everything about it was like the drugs they manufactured. It was just something that naturally made them happy.
She hop skipped over to a desk and began to look around at all the things on it. Hmm... paperwork. Paperwork was a b***h. Especially transfer paperwork. Poor Tystra...
She was snapped out of her reverie by the question asked of her. She grinned and headed straight through the door to the captain's office without knocking. Only time she'd be able to do that probably. She began to look around until she spotted the arm, still incomplete, sitting on the top of a filing cabinet in a glass box. She opened the box and pulled it out.
She returned to Tystra happily. Alright, maybe she was a little too happy that she had him as a captain but nobody could blame her right now. She handed him the arm.
"There you go!"

Tystra grabbed the arm out of Dani's hands and smiled. It was great having Dani as his LT so that now they could be closer. It was like heaven to him. He leaned in to kiss her on the cheek. "Your amazing..." He then took the arm and placed it on the table to start studying. He paused and looked up at Dani with a serious look now. "What has been installed into this arm?"

The arm was surprisingly heavy for its size so it was a bit of a relief when Tystra took it away from her. A few modifications were necessary there or Hoshi wouldn't be able to move it at all!
When he kissed her cheek, she blushed slightly. It had been unexpected but not unpleasant. She smiled sheepishly and began to snap back into focus to think about the job at hand. She stared at the table.
"I honestly do not know... I mean, I was only here when we were making the layers of false skin."

Tystra looked thoroughly at the arm. The false skin was there and it was a good start, but Tystra had some ideas. "Well... this will not stand as a fighting arm..." He then took the blue prints and started to draw some stuff on it. An arrow pointed near the wrist of the arm. After drawing that, he draw what seemed to be a small tube. He then pointed at it. "That is going to be our first step Dani...we need to make a reietsu tube of some sort to where the arm is able to produce the kido spells..." He had a general idea of what was needed but he was still puzzled.

Dani noticed the slightly puzzled look on his face and grinned. She was happy she could figure this one out. If he couldn't, that meant she had to be doing something right! She walked over to a newer machine and gave it a good slap.
"Why don't you just crystalize a mixture of reiatsu and spells into a little shape and insert it? New machines do wonders."

Tystra looked over at Dani. He hadn't learned how to use that machine but he knew it wouldn't be what he wanted. He knew what the general outline was gonna be but he would need Hoshi to fully make that item. "Sorry Dani...But I don't trust that machine and not only that." He turned his body towards her. "With crystals, we would have to keep reloading crystals after every battle, that is a complete waste of reietsu." He turned back and started to look at the arm again. "I am wanting to use her energy so then she can soully rely on her own power. Not only that but what if she runs out of crystals... she won't be able to use this arm anymore for any kido..." His eyes lite up as he had an idea. "What if...we use a strand that can connect with Hoshi's brain waves and the energy of the body..." He then took the blueprints and started to draw out this small strand.

Well, damn. She had thought it was a pretty good idea considering how long the crystals lasted. And Hoshi actually wouldn't have to use her energy for it then. It was a handy little thing. Then again, Dani was one of those people who firmly believed kido was an inexact art and basically useless. Ah well...

Tystra continued to look at the arm as if studying the arm thinking of many things to do with the arm. He knew he could make a good arm but he wanted to make the best arm. He thought of new ways to make it stronger. He kept thinking. "We first need to find a way to measure the strongest persons hitting potential so then we can put that into Hoshi's new arm."

Dani listened and began to prod the arm with a free finger. This was super funny. As much as she wanted to help, she found it that she couldn't help but think how ridiculous it was for them to be working so hard to make a false arm. It would be so messed up. She looked up at Tystra and smiled. "Well, I suppose the best thing to do would be talk to the Head Captain about that one."

Tystra continued to study the arm but overheard what Dani said about the head captain. He knew the head captain was very strong, but he didn't know if he was the strongest. "That's not guaranteed Dani, the Head captain is usually very well rounded in all aspects. Which means that he can beat most people in most areas. But, he may not be the strongest in strength..." He trailed off thinking of an invention he was had that could measure strength. He had to figure out where he put that so that he can put the modifications into the arm.

She starting picking out dirt from underneath her nails as she thought carefully. It was true, the Head Captain might not be the strongest. Although it seemed a little weird to think like that. She had usually viewed the Head Captain as the toughest badass around. Then a thought occured to her.
"Why not use the Head Captain's strength as a basis and then incorporate it with the ability to absorb shock and then adjust to tougher opponents as it goes along. Sort of like evolution."
