This is one of my favourite topics, and I find it so hard to choose just one. Let me know what movies are you favourite.
Velvet Goldmine - A wonderful movie from 1998, featuring the Glam Rock era. and based on David Bowie's "Ziggy Stardust" persona. Definitely recommended. Though I found the ending a little weak.
The Curiosity Of Chance - A slightly more recent movie, well if 2004 was 'recent'. It deals with Highschool, being openly gay, and Drag-queens.
Tokyo Shounen - I thought this was a touching story. Two pen-pals who may never meet. I'm not so sure if this would qualify as a 'Homosexual movie' but I'll throw it in anyway. I think this would be a sweet movie for all you Lesbians out there.
But I'm a Cheerleader - Another lesbian-ish movie. Basically "gay camp", it amused me.
Fingersmith - London. Theif-Lesbian maids. An interesting movie to say the least.
Now how about you all?

Bowie entirely divorced himself from "Velvet Goldmine", and rightfully so, as its only a bio-pic in the sense that you could call a gossip column serious journalism. Still, a decent, flashy vehicle for the young and delicious Jonathan Rhys-Meyers...
If you've enjoyed Fingersmith, try "Tipping The Velvet" by the same author. Rauncy vintage fun. BBC mini-series from quite a number of years ago.

It may be super mainstream, but Brokeback Mountain. Its still a touching story that makes me cry every time I watch it.

Go Fish will always be my personal favourite - basically about this one girl who wants to have a girlfriend while others try to set her up with another girl. Covers some minor things about queer challenges.
Make A Wish isn't too bad either, but you gotta like cheesy humor/horror movies for that one
