Well the time is almost upon us for the DC Universe Relaunch and I have to say that at first it sounded good but now I fully realize how much it's going to SUCK. I really hate how DC's solution to fix problems is an automatic reset of the whole timeline even for characters that were successful and actually enjoyable. A ton of characters in the Batman family were really growing into fleshed out individuals who have their own goals and have moved beyond their initial beginnings. But none of that matters anymore since d**k Grayson will be Robin and Barbara Gordon will be Batgirl again. Speaking of Babs, there's a Birds of Prey title in the Relaunch......without Barbara...... In the words of Nostalgia Critic and AVGN, "HOW DOES THAT WORK?!"

Not to mention the fact that most of the new costumes are just downright terrible. I thought a Relaunch would give them a chance to fix Wonder Woman's costume back to the way it should be but of course, they didn't do that. She still has the tacky black pants. Not to mention the fact that DC's whole reasoning behind changing her look in the first place was because of growing pressure from a number of women about her costume being to revealing and that hasn't stopped DC from relaunching Supergirl in an outfit almost exactly like the old Wondie Suit. What the hell, DC?!

So all in all I am not looking forward to this. It's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard of and yet another reason why I'm going to pay more attention to Marvel instead of DC. At least with Marvel when they write themselves into a hole they try coming up with a way to fix it. -smacks Brand New Day comic- Well, almost every time.

dang, this does sound horrible. d**k is going back to being ROBIN? wtf? are they going to like Restart everything? like are they really going to erase nightwing entirely? or whats going to happen there? is a new guy gonna be called nightwing?

huh?? I'm sure everyone knows by now, but Damian is keeping the roll of Robin. d**k will go on to resume his Nightwing Identity.
Plus the new 52 isn't that bad, at first i thought it was gonna be horrible but after picking up most of the Bat-family related issues I'm actually really pleased, although I was a little bit upset by the fact Barbra Gordon was rebooted to have never been Oracle, and only in the chair for 3 years stare

The one I really need to check out, is Teen Titans. I was really upset they decided to cut the RedRobin series and make him exclusively Titans. not to mention the fact he looks like Nightwing xp But i'm willing to stand behind it, if it means seeing more of Tim mrgreen

i own all the number ones (variant covers as well lol) and i must say im very pleased, GRANTED i dont exactly know alot about the old dc universe other then a small bit here and there because when i was younger there wasnt any comics around me. ANYWAY my favorites have to be

1. Static Shock- i guess this would be my first BIG introduction to superheros, yea i saw superman and spiderman and what not but this show just really DREW me in. So i went back bought some of the first static issues as well as the number 1 and i must say im really liking it, it has the spiderman feel to it as static always did with his smartass remarks and what not, i will say i dont think he should have been in the new relaunch, only reason he is in it i believe is because His origonal creator (from milestone comics) died, SO i think its more of a way to show there sympathies...i guess...maybe i used the wrong word. HOWEVER im hoping this will bring people in and want to read it.

2. Justice league- keep in mind i dont know alot about the universe of the characters other then static lol. But immediately i was hooked, They are disliked by the police (i think marvel did something like this) And at the end of the issue with batman vs superman, i IMMEDIATELY wanted the next issue.

3. Green lantern comics- all the green lanterns get grouped into one sorry im not putting you guys seperately. Out of the Green Lantern, Green Lantern Corps, and Green Lantern new guardians the 2 that really shined for me was new guardians and Green lantern.

there are more but then that be a gaint list lol.

there all pretty good, the batmans, green lanterns, suicide squad, STATIC (which will be in the new DC online update)

his name is just static, but yea they are putting him in with the newest update for powers.

it is free now, people who pay get more obviously but its still kinda nifty.
