Soooo I watched the first episode of American Horror Story last night.
And felt almost... disappointed? The commercials seemed more compelling then the actual show itself.
What were your thoughts on it exactly?

What were your thoughts on it exactly?
The neighbors are more haunted then the house itself.
However, maybe it is the fact the show tries almost too hard to be, well, a horror story.
What I mean by that is that the characters, as interesting as they are; are way over the top for simply no conceivable reason. There's nothing subtle about them at all whatsoever. None of the characters are remotely likeable either, so why exactly should I "feel" for any of them if they were to... lets say, get murdered?
I wasn't so much as disturbed by this show as I was just annoyed.
Also I didn't really see much "horror" (except for that bizarre scene in the basement with Violet, the bully, and Evan), as I did random raunchy bizarre smut. Sure I'm fine with watching Dylan McDermott run around buck naked for a few scenes *drools*, but I drew the line after the whole maid/Ben wanking in the window bit.
Although there isn't much horror to the show, I'll probably keep watching just to see how Vivien's pregnancy works out.
BTW.
Who do you think is behind the mask of the S&M suit? xD

In my mind I was thinking "Lol not so gay now."
But now that you mention it, that kid is weird enough to do something like that.

OKAY!
So, I watched the second episode of American Horror Story and was pleasantly surprised!
Now this is what I want in a horror show! Actual decent story telling!
What did you all think?

it seemed good but i couldnt watch it past a certain point, it confused me when in the begining she cut her husband and then went on like nothing happened, nbut then i realozed movies used to do that so i kept watching until that weird girl was in the house and the neighbor came over it just seemed really sstupid in my opinion

Did anyone by chance see last nights epic episode? Saw all up to date episodes. Been busy watching American Horror and The Walking Dead. I am really enjoying American Horror Story. No episode so far is long enough. Keeps me watching though. Really interested to see more about Tate. I also feel as though Adelaide made it to the houses grounds before she died. I think this because they credit her for 13 full episodes. I liked her character. My enemy is Constance. I hat'er

Also, this organ eating business reminds me of movie "Babysitter Wanted."

And I don't know about Tate. I think he does know what he has done and what he is, but is just toying with everyone else.
Perhaps that's why Constance wants him to "go into the light" so badly, just so she can get him out of the way. Because with the new baby, she doesn't need Tate anymore :I
By the way, wtf is up with Violet. She can go on about life and everything like NOTHING EVER HAPPENED. Like she suddenly becomes friends with the girl that nearly shoved a cigarette down her throat and she is all snuggly with Tate though she knows what he really is and just doesn't question it anymore?
Oh btw, who do you think mister leather S&M guy is?

I haven't a clue to the S&M guy anymore.... I wish I did... Ms Horror Inc thinks its the Dr Harmond... That makes no sense to me... however. I am soooo excited to see. I love this show sooo much.
I cannot wait until tonight to watch!

Almost Can Not believe I was right in the prediction of the S&M suit man being Tate. My gf thought it was the doctor which I felt made no sense. Love this show. Can't wait till the next episode. Only problem with this episode is no Constance. I hat'er and love her at the same time. I also want her daughter in the mix again. Lets see if she appears again.

I've caught the pilot and a couple other episodes here and there. I have to catch up otherwise I quite like how the story is constantly is unfolding along with more questions arising. I was hoping to watch the previous episodes on Hulu, but it would seem they have time limits. (New to basic Hulu)
