History: Evelyn was born in the Hellfire Club Headquarters of New York City to Emma Frost and Sebastian Shaw. Naturally she was immediately taken to the nearest orphanage. Her existence was seen as a weakness to the Hellfire Club. Later, if needed they would find her. Provided she was of course, a mutant. Evelyn was adopted shortly afterwards by Robert and Denise Blaire. She was raised as an All American Girl. Her dad took her to ballet, tennis, and karate lessons and doted on her. Having a dad who worked at Wall Street had its perks.
Her mother made certain she was raised level headed. Evelyn helped out at homeless shelters and was punished when due. And...gasp, she went to public school! Hr 'father's' skill with math seemed to catch with her and she was soon taking advanced Calc and Trig. But her perfect life ended one hot day in July.
The Fourth of July fireworks in New York were splendid. But Evelyn and her friends had gotten bored. They managed to get their hands on some fireworks. One malfunctioned and shot straight towards Evie. She shut her eyes and screamed, waiting for the pain. But all she felt was a rush of warmth.
Then the pain started. Her head exploded. She fell to her knees. Through watering eyes she looked at her friends. Their mouths were shut but she could hear them somehow. "What the?!?" "How'd she do that?!?" "She's a FREAK!" That night her powers surfaced.
The next day she was sent to the Xavier's Institute. Days later the Hellfire Club found out. But it was too late. She was one of them. An X-Man.
