Do the Famine

Hey guys.
On behave of my church IRL, I thought I'd share with you guys a big event that's coming up in the USA right now.

It's called the 30 Hour Famine. From the noon on 24th of this month (Feburary) to the late afternoon on the 25th, we're going to fast while asking for donations from people.

This is for the world hunger issue. For just 1 US Dollar, you can feed a hungry child somewhere in this world for a full day. You can't even buy a soda pop with that money these days.

For $365 dollars, you just fed a child for a whole year.

This isn't just another program to end world hunger, but also a way to ask God to grant mercy upon us in this world. Many of us don't realize it, but an average adult only need 3000 or so calories to survive, while a pack of cookies in the USA gives more than 130,000 calories.
