Hello and greetings in Jesus' name. How is everyone doing? Great I hope! Anyways, I want to post something that not only I am studying, but also it is a huge blessing to me; and I hope it will be to everyone else.

A few months ago, a preacher, whose name is Jerry Mawhorr from Ohio, came and preached at my Church, "Charity Christian Fellowship" on the book of Revelations. It is so encouraging and so enlightening that a lot of my views changed about how I see the book. It is not only a book for the future and end times, but it contains the stories of the past as well.

Anyways, he went in depth and pull out Old and New Testament truths and applied them to the book. And I gaurentee you that if you listen to these sermons, they will encourage the believers, convict the unbelievers, as long as they have an open heart to the Word. It did change how I view about the end times.

Each sermon is about 1 to 1 1/2 hours long. Below are the sermons of the series. If you click the title, the player will stream the file so you do not need to download it. Or right click and press save, it will download it to your computer, virus free.

I will give the title, the (category beside it in parenthesis), and the description of it. It would be a blessing for us as the people of God to get to know this book. Remember, "Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand." Revelations 1:3.

Title: Apocalypse (Prophecy)
Description: To help us more fully understand the first phrase in Revelation, Brother Jerry read many powerful scriptures that use the same Greek word (apocalypse) that is used here for “Revelation.” Daniel was a man that really pressed in to the Lord to understand things that should take place in the future. God showed him some things before He sealed the book until the time of the end. Finally, in Rev. 5 we read that One was found worthy to loose the seals on the book, in order to reveal to us more future things.

Title: Companion in Tribulation (Persecution)
Description: Brother Jerry challenged us with the fact that we are not waiting for persecution, but that persecution is waiting for us. “For all that live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution!” Are we living in such a way the the darkness is offended?

Title: The Candlesticks (Christian Life)
Description: This message brings out the fact that we as Christians are called to be priests unto God, ministering with spiritual incense, shewbread, and candlesticks. Brother Jerry asks the following questions: Are we keeping the bread fresh? Is our altar of incense (worship and prayer life) burning? Are our candlesticks lit brightly?

Title: A Thief in the Night (Prophecy)
Description: But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. We must watch and be ready for the coming of Christ. Take a look at the signs of His coming. What does it mean where it says the day comes as a thief?

Title: The Doctrine of Balaam (Sin)
Description: One thing Jesus had against the church of Pergamos was that they had those who held the doctrine of Balaam. God loves you and His jealousy over your affections burns like fire. We are to be content with such things as we have because we have God! The world suffers with covetousness and discontentment.

Title: The Throne Room (Worship)
Description: A walk through Revelation 5. No one was found worthy to open the book except Jesus Christ, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David. Heaven and earth raise a chorus of praise to Him who lives for ever and ever. God wants us to fulfil the purpose for which we were created, live for God and worship Him.

Title: The Seven Seals (Prophecy)
Description: Do you know what the horses represent in the first four seals? What beasts cry out, “Come and see”? God gave the ones on the horses power to damage the earth much, but with precise limits. Temptation will be great to look to the “false christs” to save us from all the chaos and destruction. The end-time signs Jesus shares in the gospels coincide beautifully with these events we discover in Rev. 6.

Title: The 144,000 of Revelation (Prophecy)
Description: Message on Revelations 7. The servants of God on earth are sealed on their foreheads so they would not be harmed in the judgment. The great multitude in heaven that no man could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language are standing before the throne and before the Lamb. These are those who came out of great tribulation. They are praising God and the Lamb.

Title: The Trumpets (Prophecy)
Description: There will be a shout to call forth the dead, the angels will gather the elect and we shall be changed. There will be trumpet judgments upon the earth. People will long to die but will not be able. In view of the judgements to come, we must take the opportunity to repent today.

Title: The Antichrist (Prophecy)
Description: Christ was born and the dragon tried to kill him right away. It is the story of the ages. Satan wanted Jesus to worship him. Satan still wants people to worship him. He will set up a system of compulsory worship with capital punishment for violators. He will require a mark for economic purposes. We must worship God alone. We must love the truth to avoid strong delusion.

Title: MYSTERY, BABYLON (Prophecy)
Description: The book of Revelation talks about the great city Babylon that fell because of her sins. Do we have a desire for the riches and pleasures of this world? Do we go after the world and all it represents? We need to check our hearts.

Title: The Great White Throne of Judgment (Prophecy)
Description: Satan will be bound up for a thousand years. Those who gave their lives for Jesus will reign with Him. After the thousand years there will be a final judgment. God is just and cannot tolerate sin. The penalty must be paid. Jesus has paid the penalty if we come to Jesus.

Title: The Two Witnesses (Prophecy)
Description: A look at Revelations 11. Who were the witnesses? What did they do? The great earthquake.

Title: New Heaven and New Earth (Prophecy)
Description: The earth will be destroyed by fire. The Holy City, the new Jerusalem, will come down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. God will dwell with His people.

Title: River of Life (Heaven or Hell)
Description: The source of the River of Life is the throne of God. The Tree of Life is on either side. There will be no more curse. God will be the light. He will reign for ever and ever. He presents the great invitation, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.
