I know this is more than a month early but Valentines day is soon. I personally love our little get togethers during the holidays. And since were all about the lovin' of Stein I feel that this should be a HUGE event for us. .3. Im also a terrible planner but Im excited! I hope they bring back all the NPC's for this one
point:
-ideas of what should happen?
-who else is excited
-predictions of what may happen?

I know we've been talking about it quite a bit in the Xmas thread, though I don't know if we've established much.
I am definitely excited for V-Day, it's one of my favorites! Although knowing the Gaia team, it will have nothing to do with NPCs and it will probably involve some ridiculous gold sink. gonk It's like they've de-humanized us.
I'm guessing it will involve sending cards of mad lib stuff again...they seem to like to do that a lot.

Well, I remember a title in the X-mas thread coming up. o3o
Cupid in Stitches, C.I.S.
So maybe we could do something like lovey-dovey anons?
Maybe we could do some Mad-Libs regarding Stein and stitches?
I think we should do a story again too. Something regarding broken hearts, a s**t load of thread, and some needles to do some SERIOUS mending with.

What about a collection hunt? That stuff tends to be popular when the items in question are rather easy to obtain. There's already thread from zOMG to start us off. The one who collects the most threads can win a mini prize for "stitching up the most hearts" ? Maybe? We can use the other lanterns for other collections or poems or avatar contests. The lanterns are fairly cheap (at least for now) so there shouldn't be a shortage of prizes if we hold multiple contests.

I think I might go with the anon idea for the C.I.S thread as well as mini prizes. Though Mad-libs gave me such a headache. I hope they don't do that again. And I'm with Hawk on the story thing for the event thread. ^^
Hawk: The title was sort of an idea I had for guild's event thread. XD I hope people don't get confused with the show CIS.

(In our case, it would be threads) > Open trade with person in charge of counting. This is usually a mule. > Keep trade open until the person in charge has updated their list of participants. The list can be either private or public. > Cancel and re-open the trade when you want to update your item count. The idea is similar to a user-based event that was done for zOMG. ~~ We can have random tektek characters who have "broken hearts" for participants to "mend." Each broken heart can be the center of a different type of contest. Sort of like a theme to each one? Like you can have one that wants flowers to make for their sweetheart but their original bouquet got ruined by the cat or something. (Collect flowers from towns, shops, the marketplace or zOMG) The next heart is looking to serenade their significant other, but doesn't have the right music. (Collect music notes from zOMG or the marketplace) Next heart is planning a feast but they forgot to get the fish. They simply cannot gather enough fish in time for the big day. (Collect fish from the Fishing mini-game or from the market place) And so on. . . . Does that make a little bit of sense?

Ooooh yeah that makes a lot more sense.
When I had originally read it, when I saw 'threads' I was thinking of the place we posted, not like...an item. XD
It sounds ambitious but I am curious to see who will do it. Something I imagine would be really interesting if we get participants who aren't lazy!

BWoR's avi idea made me think of another tektek contest;we could all make our best V-day avis and have a contest for users to dress Stein up to match us. Each host user would choose what prizes to give away and each tekteking user could choose who to do.
((Ive reread this twice and it makes sense in my head I hope it does to y'all gonk ))

But on a hopeful note for you, Gaia has done them for the last three Vdays I dont think they can do it forever
