The free fishes are called the lite version of aquarium fishes. The lite fishes have specific differences between fishes from Phin Phang which cost GCash:
- They are free (from daily chance, dumpster dive, or exchange)
- They do not invoke Booty Grab
- They have a shorter lifespan
- They drop different items, mostly items for alchemy

So I like the idea of trading in fish and tying it into fishing. However, they pre nerfed it by saying that they won't trigger booty grab and that they will have a shorter life span. I do like that they will drop alchemy items and things but at a shorter life span? They're "free" fish. Free fish should last longer at least.
I do think that the numbers are a bit extreme. Especially for the simple aquarium Goldfish. 50 fish= 1 goldfish which is the cheapest fish there. Some of the fish are hard to catch in the first place
