Hello and greetings in the name of Jesus Christ. I was listening to a sermon from the Godly Home series by Denny Kenaston, called "A Godly Heritage Today." In it, he explains on the experience he had about 3 decades ago, and I literally wept over it. It is so powerful and so moving, I wept and just prayed to God, "Lord, make more of these kinds of people. We need these kinds of people letting their light shine so that people around them knew that these people have something that they didn't." And it is really changing my life and how I relate to others, how I spread the Gospel to my neighborhood, the aspects of a Godly Home, and many, many more. But I want it to be an encouragement for us to aim for that goal. Keep pressing on and aim for that mark, just like this family did.

And also, Denny Kenaston did not say the ages of these little children, but I would say that they were like around 6 - 14. But for them to willingly go up to people and pass out tracks, I am really taken back on how we could even be too afraid or even too shy of the thought of going up to a complete stranger and pass out a Gospel track, concerning for his eternal soul. We need more evangelism in America and the World, that is true. But we need more Godly families to rise up, stand solid in the Word, living the Word, preaching the Word. Yes, we are will have our ups and downs at times, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. I may not be married, nor do I have children, but revival of the Lord comes to the heart and when a man or a woman or a child or a family got that revival from the Lord, it will spread outward into a lost and dying world. "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

Denny Kenaston
I want to share with you that changed our lives forever. 22 years ago, I read a living epistle of 2 Corinthians 3:2, and I never gotten over it.

I met a family that were doing many, many, many things right in their home. I'm sure that there were some things wrong there. But they were so far beyond me. In those days, a vision came to my heart as I met this home. God used this family to plant some things in my heart that changed the destiny of my children without a doubt, and it inflamed me with a vision for Godly homes.

I was in Minnesota many years ago, helping 2 dear brothers with revival meetings for 3 weeks in a town of Minnesota. Each night, his family came. It was an unusual family. They were a bit different. They looked different. The ladies have coverings on their heads. The men dressed more simple than anybody else. And I noticed this family came night by night. One evening, they had the family came up and sing a few songs in a 4 part harmony. I was impressed when I looked at that.

One night, their father came up to me after the meeting, and he said "I would like for you to come to breakfast at my house in the morning." He invited me and one of my friends. I told him that I could come and he gave me a couple of directions. We parted and I started moving around, visiting others and said "I am going to this family's house in the morning for breakfast." And the people got a big smile on their faces and said "You will enjoy that." I did not know what that meant at that time.

Tuesday came, my friend and I headed out, crossed over the border in Canada, started to follow these directions that we were given. Somehow, we got lost. As I look at it now, God got us lost. We didn't know where we were at, so we decided to stop and ask.

We stopped at a business and asked them, "Could you tell us where these people live?" Then the man got a big smile on his face and said, "Sure. I know where they live. You just go down the road this way so far, make a left hand turn, you go there on the right, and the farm is back in there a ways."

We jumped back into the car and headed back down the road, and somehow, we missed that left hand turn. Finally I said "Woah, there is something mixed up here." We stopped and turn around into another place of business and said "Sorry, we lost our way. We are trying to find this place. Do you where these people live?" This guy got this big smile on his face and said "Oh yes, I know where they live. Go down the road and make a right, go through this residential area and down that way.

We kept on going and we got to the residential area and somehow, we got lost in there too. What are we going to do? Well, I knocked on a lot of doors when I went soulwinning. So I knocked on several doors in the residential area and this person got a big smile on their face, same story.

We ended up at the farm. Typical farm scene. The boys were doing the chores. The girls were in the house with their mother, making breakfast. All of the sudden, the boys came in and sat down on the table. They had a nice country breakfast there.

After we finished our meal, we had a nice Spiritual conversation. The father turns to me and gives me a Bible and says "You are going to have devotions, this morning." I was like "Uh oh. What am I going to share?" So I opened up the Bible and start to read Ephesians 1, that is a good place to start. When I was reading, I looked around the room a little bit and see how things were. I noticed that every of those little children have their eyes shut as I was reading the scriptures. They were squeezing of what they can get out of what I was reading.

After the time of sharing was over, they passed out the song books and we started singing. I never heard singing like that before. It was beautiful. I mean a family that sings a year after year after year, and we all sing together and Heaven came down and the Glory of God came to that little dining room while we sang those songs.

After we finished singing, the father dismissed the breakfast table. As soon as he was done, all of the boys jumped up on me, and they had tracks in their back pockets and in their front pockets, and they gave me a track on the verbal inspiration of the Bible, and wanted to know what I thought of Billy Graham, and it just going on like this. I was kind of taken back by these boys. They were so zealous.

As soon as I finished with them, the mother drugged me to the next room and started weeping. She said, "Oh Brother Denny, Pray for revival. We need revival in our town." I was taking all of this in. I was thinking "Wow, this is different."

Then the boys took me on a little tour and look at the things on the farm. While we were walking and sharing about the Lord, the milk trucked pulled in the middle of our conversation. One of the boys stopped talking and pulled out a track from his back pocket, jumped up there on the truck and stuffed that track through the window and asked him "Hey, are you born again?" I am just watching all of this.

We finished our little tour, and I got back into the car after saying goodbye. One of the little girls came out with a loaf of German bread and a dozen eggs. That is their little gift that they gave to those who have visited. She gave them to me and I put them in the backseat of the car and we started driving.

We came to the border to go back into the United States and here comes the Custom Officer. He walked up to the car and asked "Where are you going?" We said "We are going back to the states from visiting some friends." He asked us if we had anything in the car. We replied, "We only have a loaf of German bread and a dozen eggs." This guy had a big smile on his face and said "I know where you have been." And he named the name of that family and he sent me down the road.

We drove down the road and I started thinking. "Lord, what does all of this mean?" It took a little while for the dust to settle and for the things to settle in my poor, blinded heart. But after a few days, I began to cry to God, "God, I want that. Lord, I saw something there I never seen and I want it Lord."
