Personality: Distant, cold, and calculating, Lord Terest sits back and watches as his underlings toil and work to achieve schemes that he has conceived and placed into motion. Never stepping forward, if there is no need, Terest will cut down anyone that stands before him and his plans without the slightest trace of remorse. Though blood-shed is a natural part of his life, Terest holds respect for other Sith, making alliances through the shadows and the underbelly of the galaxy. Encoded messages and the like are common trade in his fortress, located in the vicinity of the once magnificent Star Forge.
Biography: Born into a semi-notable family, young Braxis was never able to view or even to live in the lap of luxury. Born with an innate understanding of the Force, he was spirited away during the last uprising of the Old Republic. Brought to one of the core worlds, young Braxis was brought early into the initiate stages of a Jedi. He flew through the lessons, beating out his peers with seeming ease and grace, but never becoming complacent or overly confident.
Years passed and he continued his studies, until one fateful day when the goodness in his eyes and his soul were banished, to be replaced with a hollow, so filled with darkness and evil that no chance of redemption could be achieved or born. Braxis' entire family was killed before his eyes, as a band of Republic fanatics both raised and then slaughtered his family under the pretenses that his family was a supporter of the separatist functions. They couldn't have been farther from the truth, for his family was deeply involved with the civil crisis of the times and were working to help stop the problems and bring peace.
Ironically enough, a young sith happened across the scene and found the then young Braxis. He had overheard Braxis' oaths of revenge on those who had killed his family and brought him before the sith's master. The master was overjoyed at the discovery and quickly brought the boy into full with the dark side, his abilities allowing him to grasp ideas that acolytes could hardly fathom. Within three years, two months after Braxis' 22 birthday, he had passes his founder's rank, killing him as a final placement into his new title of Sith Knight.
With sabers in hand, the once Jedi turned Sith marched on the capital building of the city where he had once lived and slaughtered each and every single person inside, carving them to pieces with the four Force controlled blades and his own two in his hands. Delighted at the slaughter, Braxis' master lavishly rewarded his new Knight with yet another title, that of Marauder, and granted him his Sith name. So was born the Sith Terest, a beacon of death and of disorder.
It was not even seven years later that Terest's lord became laconic and dropped his guard. Seizing the opportunity, Terest slew his master and claimed the title of Sith Lord for his own. Taking over the fortress on Abo, Terest's interests immediately went to the orbital space heep, the once famed Star Forge. Taking a legion of troops there, Terest soon had the once mighty forges rekindled and the machinery there working on a new generation of message carrying ships, all the while out of the sight of any other Sith or Jedi. Creating a kind of shielding which renders the ability to sense with the Force nearly useless, Terest is now biding his time until another rising of the Sith appears, then he will begin his grand plans of creating a fleet the galaxy has yet too see, so massive that all the rest shall pale in comparison.
Weapon(s): Custom Forged Dual Lightsabers, Both Red Saber Crystals, plus four other Force controlled Lightsabers, two red colored blades, one Orange and one Black.
Fighting Style: Primarily Jar'Kai, though manipulates four other blades with the Force. Also has a strong presence with Force fighting (Force Lightning, Choke, Push, Pull) Physical Combat is not his strongest suit, but he is fearsome and can hold his own against multiple opponents for long periods of time.
Additional Information: High Lord Terest is the leader of his own faction in the Sith order, claiming title to the time forgotten name of High Lord. Though he is still a Dark Lord, he is a fearsome opponent who as of right now, no one has met him face to face and lived. Due to his unusual fighting style, a hybrid made from his own endeavors, Terest is currently undefeated. His main base of operations is the molten world of Abo, and is currently working on restoring the space factory to its original operating capacity.
Terest is, with the help of his vast amount of minions and spy networks, currently building a fleet that will rival that of the current Republic's and will put to shame the remaining CIS forces. He does not, however, have any connection to the two, and his existence, for all intents and purposes, is not registered in the annals of either side.
Terest is currently looking for more minions as well as possible apprentices, but the trials to becoming one is promised not to be easy. Only those who are truly entwined with the Dark Side of the Force will be able to make it to the next stages of apprentice. (Message me if you want to try and become affiliate with my character.)
