Greetings once again in the precious name of Jesus.
Since we learned that we were sinners in need of salvation, and since we repented, and confessed those sins to Jesus and asked Him to forgive us, save us and to fill us with His righteousness, Our lives should have changed in many ways.
There is a verse of scripture in Psalm 107 which urges
"Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy."
The psalmist was referring to Israel, whom God delivered from captivity and slavery in Egypt.
He also referred to Israel for every time God had delivered the nation from the hand of invaders and conquerors.
If we fast forward to today, we must know that all of us, whom God has saved from an eternity in HeII, have also been redeemed by a powerful and loving Creator.
The very word redeemed or the word redemption should convey to us an understanding that we have been bought and paid for by the only person who could rightfully do so.
What a cost!
What an expensive and precious price was paid!
God, who left the portals of glory, became a tiny seed, thoughtfully and miraculously placed in the womb of a young virgin girl.
That seed brought forth life in the form of the baby Jesus, who's only purpose was to be mocked, scorned, tortured and sacrificed on the rugged, wooden cross of Calvary.
Christ died for you.
He died for me.
He gave His life willingly and lovingly so that you and I could find peace, joy, and eternal life inside the same portals of glory that Christ left for us.
We were redeemed from the clutches of the destroyer of men and nations.
We were ransomed from the grip of Satan.
Since we are the redeemed of the Lord, we should say so to everyone we know.
We should witness about our salvation to those who are unsaved so that we can share our gift with them.
Finally, we should lift our hands, our heads and our voices toward heaven and tell God how grateful we are for this precious redeemption.
Let us all lift our voices to the Lord and make a joyful noise to Him.
May God pour out His blessings on you all.
Your brother in Christ,
