Do you think as Christians we should vote for Obama now that he is supporting gays?
I don't think so. He has clearly gone against the Bible on this one. I know that as a politician he is trying to tell Christians that he has to separate church and state but if he really believed and loved God then he could not bring himself to go against the word. He can not play both sides. This time it may come down to not voting for either if they will not stand by the word. I for one will not willing to go against what I believe and stand before God to answer why I did such a thing.

Let me be the first to say that Im all for what your saying, and the fact that you have Bible Scriptures to back what you have said, it is no longer a opinion but a Christian based statement.

Well, if you mean that supporting "gay marriage" is against the Christian teachings, I'd agree with that, but the way that you said that came across as just a little bit prejudiced... because you don't have to support gay marriage to be accepting of people who are homosexual and many Christians feel that way. On the other hand, I can also understand when it makes people uncomfortable in general.
I do understand though. Careful with politics- they can get messy!

You love the person and hate the sin. What I was saying is that He came out in support of gay marriage then went on a separate show and told the church that he really is not for but has to separate church and state. He tried double talking so that he wouldn't loose any votes. That is what upsets me. I have gay friends and even though they are my friend I will not support gay marriage. I can not go against the word of God to make someone happy. I need to worry about when I stand before the Lord and give account of the choices I made in life.

Amen to Matthew 10:32-33!!!!! I for one think that Obama is a spineless nassarcestic weasel with Islamic and Communist plots and ideas set to bring America down and under the 3rd world country mark.
But that is just my opinion.

I think Christ would prefer us to pray for him and the countries government. Prayer changes things and is powerful in turning sinner's away from their sin and back to the Father. Hate is practically murder in the heart, Christ said. So let's not embrace paranoia (Fear of men; but to Fear of the Lord... the beginning of Wisdom) Show love that it'll heap coals over the heads of your enemies.
