Hi, fellow stalkers! I'm playing this Summer Springs game that Gaia has on facebook, only to progress I need more friends who play it. It is a really great game! I don't understand why they've made it a facebook thing and not a gaia one. With this being a pg13 site the idea of requiring a friend count to upgrade encourages the younger teens to just add anyone to get the numbers up. That's some real stranger danger! Facebook is no where near the safe place Gaia is for young'ns. It all just seems counter intuitive to the atmosphere they try and create.

XD It's why my profile's set to private and I don't add people I don't know in person. I'm also proud to say i dont have timeline. XD I think it's ridiculous how "loose" a lot of social media sites are.

I've been playing it a bunch, and I added a handful of Gaians, but I'm working on securing my information (such as putting all the people I don't know in person in the restricted list so I can hide information/personal posts from them).
Yeah, social media is pretty scary... and then the news media is always "surprised" whenever cases involving stalkers or ***** or stuff happen because of it... >.<

I have to agree that I don't understand why it's on Facebook than being on Gaia... It kinda reminds me of Harvest Moon when I do get on and play, but I'm more likely to play Harvest Moon over Summer Springs... I tend not to get on my face book that much ^^;;

I haven't played the other game... I don't know, it does kind of alienate many players, and removes the anonymity of our Gaia usernames because it forces us to link to a real name. Some people have created fake accounts to play the game, but I didn't realize I'd need friends until I was way far in sad
