I've often thought Integra would make a formidable lawyer and Hellsing a good law office if one day it realized the last vampire had been destroyed. (or at least the last one posing a threat to Britain)
Today I finished a book about a group of tattooed bikers who formed an animal rescue group, Rescue Ink. At one point I had an image of hellhound Alucard causing trouble for anime abusers.
Put those two thoughts together and I came up with Integra as an advocacy lawyer and Alucard enjoying causing trouble to human scum.
Scene 1) Integra prosecutes a wife beater who has repeatedly violated restraining orders. Human form Alucard plays bodyguard to the threatened wife, having much fun if the violent husband comes too close.
Scene 2) Integra goes after a code violating puppy mill while puppy form Alucard causes havoc extreme at the site itself as an "escaped puppy".
What thoughts have you had on post-vampire Hellsing?

Excellent idea! Integra would make a fearsome lawyer. Matlock wouldn't stand a chance. Throw some Dexter in there, with Alucard taking out the scum that the law couldn't wipe up, and it's perfect.
A bounty hunting agency would also work. They track down bounties like they track down freaks. I'm sure Alucard would rather take on the Dead or Alive contracts rather than the Bring to Trial ones.

Ooooh, good idea, Ace! Heck, why not both? Bounties to bring in money to help fund the advocacy work. All of which is still serving and protecting England.
