• Intoduction

Alchemy.. now, where do I get started? Well, to start off, here's a famous quote from a famous Japan TV show alchemist character...

"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving
something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost.
That is alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange."

Please note that alchemy can be dangerous sometimes. If you fail, you won't get your gold put into it, back. You get your items back, but you lost some gold. This result is not my fault, or Vermiculus Ala's fault (the book). Also, every detail put into this book is important. You better read carefully or you'll misunderstand in the future.

• where to start?

Now, where do we start? Well, we're going to get you a starter kit! You can only grant yourself a starter kit once only! So, don't mess up! 'Recite' (click) the following words to get a starter kit and then a kit full of the things you need will pop up in front of you out of nowhere. This spell is so easy, even a un-trained three year old could recite it.

When you get the kit, it should include.. formula, Skeleton Hide, and Attuned Alloy. Just add the remaining ingredients and craft away! By the way, after you have all the requirements, go make a Alchemy Circle (alchemy page), touch the glowing green READY tab, touch the COMPLETE button, and you will begin to make the item. You can find some alchemy items at a shop called Bifrost. It is the official alchemy shop. Once you've made your item, it's called, "Aspiring Alchemist". It has two uses. You can use it has a badge sort of thing or a super cool belt! I'm sure it'll give you 'the alchemist' look. The pictures below are a preview.

• Choosing a forumla

When choosing a formula, you must be at it's level. Formulas are at levels and if you are at that level, or above it, you can create it. It should say what level it is. On the preview of the formula. Below, is the formula of aspiring alchemist. If you look at the bottom of it's scroll, it's a level one item. So, I think anyone could make it since everyone starts off at level one. This formula is also the item you are asked to make in the starter kit.



Lets see another example.



If you look at the bottom of the scroll, it's at level six! That's right, six! You'd need to cast alot of items to get to level six in the art of alchemy. Don't underestimate alchemy. It's not as easy as you think. This item is called Geek Chick. Is is worth around 400,000 gold in the market. Yes, you will even get to create rare and expensive items such as this when you are at this level. Alchemy really is amazing. Although, you won't get a starter kit for this. Only for the aspiring alchemist item.

Every formula has a chance to succeed. You can see the chance by going to your inventory, finding your formula, and looking at the details of it. (clicking it)

If your formula has succeed, you will look like this for a split second. *the images moves and shows what is happening* A big blue flame will shoot up from the alchemy circle with a alchemy circle circling in it.The two people creating something in the alchemy circle are no other than the famous and well known celebrities of this world! Cresento and Nicolae! They are demonstrating how you should look like when your formula chance has succeeded in alchemy.

• what are the chances of success? (2/2)

Now, not all formulas will always succeed by 100%. Some will fail and some will succeed and be used as a fashion accessory or holding item. Like, if aspiring alchemist, the item, succeeds when being created, it can be used as a fashion accessory, since it can be a badge or a belt. If you fail, it will explode. When it explodes, it won't kill you of course. But it could hurt and you could get knocked out for a few minutes. Most people get knocked out for.. 15 minutes.

You lose the money and gold put into it, but you get your items back. They will be un-burnt and damaged from the explosion. They'll be as good as new again. The explosion is due to not high enough chance of succeeding. Now, you must be wondering, what does that look like? Well, if you go to your inventory, and fish for that formula, and all.. it'll look like the following moving image.

• finding your formula (1/2)

We will talk about finding your formula. Where in the world do you get one you ask? Well, they can either be found in the market, or a cash shop near where you're living. You should be able to find one. Not too hard, really. Another way to get them in giftboxes. If you ever get a gift box from your friends or family for your birthday, Christmas, or some kinda of event, or just randomly, you MIGHT have a chance to get a formula. The gold, brown, pink, and blueboxes all give recipes and so do the trunks. There is this one special magic item called The Fat Cat Alert! It's a strange name for an item, but it's named for that for a reason. If you receive one of these, you'd understand.

Now for some history. An old demon lady by the name of Rilak Shuilavastifushia had a fat magic cat. This cat granted her many wishes. She was a greedy old hag. She would always have it 'drop' her a present if you know what I mean.. The cat was being forced to grant her wishes for a long time. Then there was a time where this cat couldn't take it no more. The cat cloned itself into millions and billions. Those millions and billions weren't the real one and can't grant wishes, so the lady had trouble finding the real wish granting cat. The lady gave up and died of really old age. She died at the age of 437 I believe. So, then the cat was really happy and sacrificed itself to grant the rest of her clones to be able to grant random wishes to everyone else.

• finding your formula (2/2)

If you really want a rare formula, you're going to have to get the ALCHEMIST'S CASE. This is the item where most people can find a rare formula. It is this tiny red and shiny box. Pretty fancy, eh? Anyways, the box looks like this.



More history! Well, there was this ancient eastern wizard and alchemist who wanted to store all of his rare formulas inside. He went by the name of Averan Dynamiss. With the help of a young, and beginner, secret black magic user, he made a powerful box. He called it, the Alchemist's case. The black magic user wanted it for himself, so he killed Dynamiss, and stole the case. But later, the black magic user suddenly stopped breathing because of the black magic. The black magic user wasn't too compatible with it, so it killed him and people later found him. They studied how to make the box, and what happened when they opened it. When they open it, they got a very rare forumula. So they found out that it gives you a random formula but can be used only once. They thought it could make them rich, so they studied how to make it. They figured it was black magic, but they eventually figured out with normal magic. It was tough, but it would be all worth it when they sold these. That's how many of these rare cases exist today!

Finding your ingredients can be really easy as finding your formula. You can find them at the market, Philosopher's Cache, Enki's Catch,and Golden Giftboxes. And also the famous daily chance. The story behind the philosopher's cache is unknown, but at least we have it.
You can find the Enki's catch from the famous male mermaid breed, Enki.

Yup. There is one. It's called Bifrost. It's found anywhere near you! It's the source of powerful alchemy formulas. The owner is the famous Cresento as mentioned before in the book and his assistant, Nicolae. For those wanting to see a photo of Cresento and Nicolae, here!
