What? ~ What Skill Coins Are
Anyone who is familiar with the Sanada clan in popular media such as; Sengoku Basara or The Samurai Warriors you will recognise my six little friends in the picture above here. They're the Zeni Coins, six coins used to pay a warriors way through the various stages of the Buddhist afterlife. The Sanada used it as their family standard
The reason why I point your attention towards these coins is because they are the easiest analogy with which to describe our own skill point system. Roleplayers, will have to earn these coins through various deeds within the roleplay and then use them as a currency to exchange for skills, weapons and other things to benefit their character.

How? ~ How One Goes About Obtaining Skill Coins
Now an obvious question that arises in explaining the skill coins system is; How does one go about getting their hands on Skill Coins?
The answer is simple. By achieving certain tasks within Roleplay a character can earn Skill Coins; how many depends on the feat itself. A list of feats and how many coins they will earn a character will be displayed in a list below.
List of Feats and How Much They Will Earn You
Creating a New Character ~ 10 points for the new character to start with Training ~ 1 point per 500 words in Training Smithing ~ 1 point per 600 words spent smithing, these points must be spent on weapons. Hopefully, the one you made. Defeating an Allied Officer in Sparring ~ 1 point Defeating an Enemy Officer in Battle ~ 2 points Forcing an Enemy Officer to Flee in Battle ~ 2 points Capturing an Enemy Officer ~ 3 points Killing an Enemy Officer ~ 5 points Being a Part of The Force That Wins A Battle ~ 1 point Taking a Structure For Your Forces ~ 1 point Surviving a Battle ~ 1 point

Why? ~ Why You Need Skill Points and What They Do
So, why do you need Skill Coins? To develop a character of course! You can trade your skill points for different benefits such as abilities or weapons. A price list will be included in this post down below.
Price List
● Unit Ability ~ Costs 5 Skill Coins Description: A unit ability is an ability that allows you to bend the one ruling that you cannot manipulate the NPC members of your unit in order to influence combat. Usually with a post limit and a high cool down, Unit Abilities can have wide and varied effects. All Unit Abilities must be approved. An example of a Unit Ability would be a Cavalry Charge or an Archer's Volley.
● Personal Ability ~ Costs 3 Skill Coins Description: A Personal Ability allows your character to accomplish certain feats that usually would be out of their reach. They usually are not limited but still need to be approved. An example of a Personal Ability would be something like Double Jumping or even a specialist fighting style.
● New Weapon Affinities ~ Costs 3 Skill Coins Description: A new weapon affinity allows your character to wield a new type of weapon. Without the Weapon Affinity you cannot wield a weapon of that type. Example: If I add the Weapon affinity for Spears to my character, my character will now be able to wield Spears on top of his original Weapon affinity.
● New Custom Weapon ~ 2 Skill Coins Description: A New Custom Weapon is as it says; it allows you to add a new Custom Weapon to a affinity Set you already own. All weapons must be approved. You cannot add custom weapons to a character if they do not have the appropriate Weapon affinity. Example: My Character has a weapon affinity for Bows. I can then make a Custom bow for my character on top of the bows I already have.
● New Mount/ Guardian Animal ~ 1 Skill Coins Description: Mounts and Guardian animals are a perk that allow you to use an animal in one of two ways. A Mount, an animal like a horse or like Dynasty Warriors is famous for... an Elephant can be ridden by your character in RP. If they die in RP, you may get another one that is the same without buying another Mount. Guardian animals, like tigers or hawks can be manipulated in RP to attack an opponent but like mounts can be killed. Unlike Mounts though, all replacement Guardian Animals must be bought upon death. There's a limit of one Guardian Animal per character whilst you can have an array of different Mounts, obviously though, you can only ride one at a time. Example: My Character rides a Grey Horse called 'Horse' and can also have a guardian animal Monkey called 'Sven' who carries medical supplies.
