History|| Little is known about the early beginnings of life, as even she claims to have long forgotten. While no one knows exactly how old she is, it is known that she is quite ancient by human standards. The mixing of races has done a number for her life span, though she seems more in tune with with her Bardi side on a day to day basis. It is known that she had a running in with a great many key figures in history. One in particular, far past the time he should have reasonably died if human, was what set the course of a major turn in life.
A key figure in the Veil Wars, Nabire managed to keep her identity a secret through shifting and heavy manipulation. She was a strategist, never engaging the enemy herself, who stayed firmly behind the scenes. This happened to be for the best when her side lost the war, and she shifted and ran before she could be caught; she was mistaken for a werewolf, and managed to shake her pursuers after disappearing into the Andes. When she was sure that her escape was covered, and her secret identity intact, she slipped out of South America and into Africa. From there, she employed favors and used her ability to convince people she had been living there for years. Recently, her job application at Reed's was accepted and she has relocated to the island, mostly to check up on an old friend.
