Hello, I am an Avid top Laner, and I have a decent knowledge base of countering for the top lane. Post here if you are having trouble with a certain champion and I will try my best to educate you on the best way to murder said champion next match.

I also consider myself a pretty good top solo laner, mainly because my team doesn't want to solo. Yet, after doing it for so long, you eventually learn a thing or two. What I struggle with is a 1v2 top lane. You know what I mean? Like the other team doesn't have a jungler and all I do is tower hug? Can u help me out a bit?

If you know you are going to be soloing against two people your best bet is really beefing champions like Malphite or a Ranged Champ that is good against two like Kennen, Graves would be a good pick against that, and if they arent good tehy will push the lane into your tower, which will give you farm. Learn to last hit under tower. If they are good, then what tehy will do is one will last hit and the other will keep you from your creeps. They will freeze the lane, the best thing you can do at this point is just... Tower hug and hope your jungler comes to help soon.

I like to use champs like Jarvan, Nasus, Lee Sin, Mordekaiser. Do you think that's enough? It is hard to last hit under tower especially for Nasus, but I usually have okay to excellent junglers coming to gank. Thanks again for the advice.

If you are atleast level 20, use Phystical Damage Reds, and no they shouldnt. Morde can 2v1 later game around level 9-12 but Nasus cant, he wont survive. Nasus is weak early game and he would get s**t on. Lee SIn could if you knew how to do his combos to get in and out.

Who do YOU recommend for solo top? 1v1? 2v1? Morde's my favorite, but been playin Trynd top. I'd recommend Trynd for a 1v1 and a 2v1.

I wouldnt recommend Trynd for 1v1 or 2v1. I can shut down Trynd with atleast 3 champs. If you must pick him, I would go 9/21/0 and he survives better. My recommendations are Graves or like Kennen. Those two can pull apart most top laners. Vlad could do well, if played right. Most of the time, when you hit 30, the meta kicks in and you dont play against two but it happens from time to time. Morde can eventually do 1v2 but you would have to do early game farm, get your farm until like level 9 then s**t on kids all game.

Rumble is tricky.. Hes like the Flavor of the month for top lane right now... I havent played against Rumble is quite some time, I have recently a few times ina friendly match but my internet was shitting on itself so its hard to say... I know Pre Shield Nerf Morde was good against Rumble, you would just keep your shield up and as rumble Flamed, by the time the flame thrower got through the shield, it would be over.
Cho Gath would be my pick against Rumble. You have a silence, a knock up, Ignite plus ult and he would be dead...The thing about rumble is you cant let him bully you, and you cant let him get an advantage, he snowballs top lane pretty well.

Ah. What i've found is Olaf wrecks just about every ap top.
Because maw of malmotius and spirit visage are both ridiculously broken on him.
And rumble is about the most snowball top champ you can face.
So shutting him down is nice.
From pro's ive heard rumble does good against and bad against everyone.
Maybe that even helps you but yeah. idk.
Anyways. thanks for replying.

Well, when i face Rumbles i found that his early game; before lvl 3,Hes pretty screwed, usually i go Doran blade cause i know if u can get that advantage early, you'll win period.

Personally I've always liked Malphite top. But now that he's gotten some spotlight in the community he's of course getting a nerf. Do you think he deserves a nerf? I think if he does he's gonna lose what made him viable in the first place. He just seems like a solid champ to me (No pun intended).

No, I do not think it will make him unviable. Hes just losing one second on his attack speed debuff and alittle damage of Armor to Damage on his ground slam. I think he will still be an Anti AD top.

I'm liking that GP's Parlay is getting refunded mana if it kills a unit, I think I'm gonna play him a bit more after the patch.
