Werewolf Basics and Information

Basic Information
A werewolf is a human being who, upon the complete rising of the full moon, turns into a fearsome and deadly near-wolf. Werewolves can be easily distinguished from regular wolves by several small distinguishing characteristics, such as the pupils of the eyes, the snout shape, and the tufted tail. At all other times, they appear as normal humans, though will often seem to be ill as the full moon approaches. This condition is caused by infection with lycanthropy, usually occurring when a human is bitten by a transformed werewolf.

Werewolf Rules and Guidelines
+ Must transform every Full Moon
+ Werewolves at Hogwarts must go to the Forbidden Forest before transforming so as not to harm any other human
+ Must not bite or change any other human without their consent first (PMs or OOC) and a plot request submitted.
+ Must take Wolfsbane Potion to ease the transformation
+ Must become registered by the Ministry of Magic.
+ Have enhanced senses and increased strength outside of their transformation, but otherwise are completely human
+ Can be students, teachers, or shopowners, however, they are usually discriminated against and must request a MTA spot
+ Can posess a wand unlike most other magical beings
+ Can breed with wizards, however, their lycanthropy cannot be passed to their children
+ Full moons do not need to be roleplayed out every time one rolls around.
+ Cannot be turned before they are in their third year/their thirteenth birthday unless given permission by a Vice Captain.
+ When a werewolf bites someone in their human form, they gain wolfish tendencies but are not considered a werewolf. This action does require a plot request. Wolfish tendencies include a predilection toward raw meat, a tendency to be loyal, and have more of a need to be social than most other people.
+ Can never be cured of their affliction
