"Here seems as good a place as any to stop for the day." he said his large orange hooves sinking into the soft sand of the river bank. His curls blowing in the wind he looked up and down the shore casually. Spotting a few large flowers he smiled and shrank down to his smaller flutter form. Grant it he was still kinda big compared to most flutters but he could still drink sweet nectar from the larger flowers and that's exactly what he was going to do. He even began to sing a little song about it in his deep baritone voice. "Gonna drink me some nectar because its tasty. tasty tasty nectar." jumping up he flew up to a large bloom and suck his head right in his tiny till waggling around excitedly.

The over-sized mare strolled towards the river bank, restless after a long day of walking. Her nomadic nature led her to be alone most of the time, and caused her to travel large distances in a matter of few days. While she wasn't overly bothered by her loneliness, she was - if fact, tired. As she reached the bank, she could have sworn she'd heard speaking, almost singing - but upon seeing nothing she dropped down and laid her head by the cool water.
As she heard a small humming noise, almost a buzzing noise, she looked around, "Hello?" She called, out into the air.

I'll be totally honest.. My heart really fell when you told me that. At that point, I started thinking and believing there really is no one out there for me now. I don't want to say you were like my last hope or anything. I'm not going to ever make you feel guilty. But at some point, I really did like you. To the point I wished I could have loved you. But there are too many complications. And we might not have been able to be together so that could have jeopardized what we would have had. It just means we aren't meant to be.
I think things are a bit awkward now. We don't seem to be talking. And neither seems to be making the effort. Maybe it'll just go back to how it was a few months ago.
I really hope you find that girl some day. The girl who I know will treat you right and love you. I did, still do, and I just got to accept that. Instead of just sitting here, sick to my stomach, to the near point of heartache. Life goes on. If things do end up being way too awkward to even talk to each other, then that's okay. I know you're there for me. And you know I am for you.
I love you. Be good.
I didn't cry typing this up for you.
I just want you to know that I still do care about you. I still want you to be my best friend.
I love you dammit, as a significant other. And as a friend.
This is my version of closure.
I hated how you broke my heart the same way Kim broke yours. You promised you'd never break a girl's heart. You broke that. And I knew you would.

Resplendent flapped her wings wildly, startled as the small Soquili slipped over her coat. She shivered involuntarily and stumbled to her hooves, "Wha-?" She caught the sight of the miniature stallion, causing her brow to furrow quizzically, "...No...problem?" She replied, tilting her head in unfamiliarity with this breed. "Why are you so small? Where did you come from?" She shot off the questions on after another and held her ground in front of the bite-sized purple critter. He was oddly cute for something so small. "Sorry to be rude, I've just never seen something like you before......" The mare paused and smirked, "And its sort of piqued my interests." Discordance non-nonchalantly tossed her head, causing the creme hairs to flare wonderfully in the misted sunlight.

cant be bad to be interesting he thought after all not only was she pleasant all things considered but she was rather wonderful on the eyes. Beautiful draft mares weren't exactly a dime a dozen not even where he had come from. "Im a grower not a show-er mam." he said with a smile. It was a phrase he had heard his father say often when he was growing up. males always laughed and any mare that heard always blushed. he had never thought to actually ask why so Acadeamiss thought it was just some adorable phrase and knew nothing of the . . .more sexual aspect of it. With that said he then grew to his actual size which was right around her size kinda small for a draft stallion but still fairly large for a flutter stallion. "Put plainly Im a flutter. " he added.
(Hes a tad nieve. so not stupid just socially stunted)

She raised her eyebrow at his words and smiled. Without knowing what they meant exactly, they seemed funny enough, so instead she just continued on like she had heard the phrase before, "Oh, is that so then?" Before she knew what was happening, in less than a blink the male popped into a size similar to hers - which startled her, but she hid her surprise well "Flutter, oh? I've heard of them. Never seen one though - until now, obviously, but...well, I can see why you're called flutters." Resplendent tilted her head to his wings and approached the male, circling him, "Are you all as.....what's the word....flamboyant?....no....spectacular?...no,no...." She stopped in her tracks, sighing - stumped, "Oh well. I just mean, you must be unique - yes? You sure seem to be anyway." She smiled, "Oh my, I haven't even caught your name yet - I'm Resplendent Discordance, or just Resplendent or Res for short. What are you doing out here all by yourself -....?"

"Well miss Resplendent Discordance i am Arcadeamiss and it seems you have a mouthful of vocabulary to match that mouthful of a name. What i mean is normally I'm just described with three real basic words Big, Purple, or Curly. On occasion i get called all three but not often and certainly nothing as nice as flamboyant or spectacular by any stretch. " he replied standing still as she looked him over. He flashed back to the day Thesh-ah had selected him to be her pupil. Perhaps this would be a life changing day as well. " one could say I was unusual for my breed. For two main reasons Firstly My size and build as Flutters are usually decidedly more delicate. Secondly My horns are large but lack the long sharp prongs that belong to the rest of my family." he said helpfully. Then paused with looking blankly off into the tree line. Like something had suddenly taken him a long way a away. "as to what I'm doing I'm afraid Thats a very long and complicated story."
