So, Heath was getting a little too big to pull himself up into his tree-top hammock home. Not heavy, mind you...just big, he was a growing boy after all. While he'd never really been the type to want an water-front property, he'd simply been following the river through the forest when it brought him upon a lake. Which was nice, really...didn't seem too busy, lots of trees. Certainly he wouldn't have any trouble finding fresh water.
Which, speaking of, he was terribly thirsty, and almost over heating in this quickly-warming, almost-Spring-like weather. Taking a moment, Heath plopped himself down at the lake's edge, splashed some of the chilly water to his face, then drank deeply from his cupped hand until he felt a little more clear-headed.
He certainly didn't expect anyone else to be in the area - after all, everything seemed so quiet and peaceful here. Far from the city...just the way Heath liked it.

Crystal closed the door to the house and locked it behind her, while her "niece" watched with a very displeased expression. It was very odd for Adriana to be in such a foul mood, especially since she was always being amused, but "auntie Crystal" was having none of it. Sure, she adored the kid, but baby sitting duty needed to be shared with the other members of the house! It was too much!
"Oh, please! I'll be just down the path, Adriana!" She sighed, wiggling her finger at the big, teary red eyes pressed up against the glass. "Now, now! Don't let Alabaster see you pouting! Wouldn't want to make your daddy cross, now would we?" With the flick of her tail she hustled her way down towards the lake and knelt down to the water, heaving another heavy, drained sigh. "Augh, finally, some peace..." She quickly went to freezing parts of the water in front of her and crushing the cubes she formed from it in her hand before sliding the crushed ice across her forehead. She was over heating so easily now that she was a Glaceon! Why didn't her brother ever warn her about this?
