I would have to say that mine would be from the book of
James ch. 1 v. 22-24 - where it says 'be ye doers of the word rather than just hears of it only.'

My favourite verse at the moment is Psalm 86:11. I sometimes use it as a prayer when I don't really have much else to ask The Lord. It's: " Teach me your way, oh Lord, that I may walk in your truth. Give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. "
