Ferris Aircraft, Inc. is one of the leading aviation companies in the world specializing in advanced aviation concepts. It employs hundreds of people in Coast City, California. The company was founded by Carl Ferris and Conrad Bloch but was later ran by his daughter Carol Ferris. One of the companies best pilot was Hal Jordan who later became the Green Lantern for Sector 2814. Hal joined the company and took a position of test pilot like his father Martin Jordan, who was killed in an accident many years before .

Carl and Conrad were friends since childhood, they shared the dream of creating a business together, Ferris-Bloch Air-Cargo, Ltd. Ferris was a business man, Bloch a pilot. Together they became profitable against the odds. However, as time went on, Ferris was constantly working, building up the business while Bloch played around, seeing many women and drinking.

The company was at forefront of aviation technology for decades, but it also had legal problems. This was due to Conrad Bloch, co-founder who had a drink problem. Carl Ferris was forced to remove his friend ending their close partnership.

The company was left to Carol to run but the company became close to bankruptcy. In years to come, the company was plagued by saboteurs and the cancelation of government contracts, a devastating attack by the Demolition Team. They even had to deal with a hositle take over. It was also one of the funding powers behind the superhero team called the Conglomerate.

In years Carol has regained control of the company and Ferris Aircraft, Inc. recent achievements include their contribution to the new Blackhawk Squadron and the launch of FerrisAir, a commercial airline service.

The Ferrari drove to a private section of runway and after parking, Jonathan got out and went to the trunk, opening it and getting out his luggage. The jet they were using was already there, and thankfully, it wasn't as small as Jonathan had thought. Though it was a good 3/4 the size of his usual plane. Smiling, he went towards the plane and was greeted by several people, one of which he knew was their pilot.

"We are so sorry for the inconvenience, Mr. Price. We'll get your usual plane fixed up as soon as we can."

"Oh it's no problem. I'm sure this jet will do just fine. Besides, it's not like you handed me a biplane," Jonathan answered jokingly, "So is it ready yet?"

"Yes sir, right this way," answered the pilot, who directed Jonathan towards the plane. When they boarded, Jonathan smiled. So the inside was a bit more cramped than his plane, but he has enough room to stretch his legs out a bit. Though Evie might be a bit nervous about it. He took his seat after putting his luggage above him in the compartment and saved one for Evie before he waited for the plane to take off.

"You going to be alright Evie?" Jonathan asked out of concern. She did seem to be frightened when he mentioned the plane would be smaller than his own private jet. Whatever frightened her, it had to do with small spaces. Hopefully this isn't too small for her to handle.

Gentle as a lamb....

Upon seeing the plane, Evie relaxed slightly. It didn't look too bad from the outside... Maybe she would be alright, as long as her mind was kept somewhat busy. Jonathan would just need to keep talking to her, keep her distracted. She stayed quiet as he and the pilot talked, waiting behind him with her suitcase. They boarded the plane a minute or so later.

This would be a problem. The plane was definitely a case of smaller on the inside, meaning that Evie would have to somehow endure at least a few hours of extreme terror. Already, she felt fear coursing through her, her breath quickening, chest tightening, stomach tying itself into knots. Once she had gotten her luggage stowed away, she sat down in the seat nearest to Jonathan, her hands gripping the armrests so tightly that her knuckles were white, her eyes shut tight and her face as pale as a sheet. In reply to his concerned question, she quickly shook her head. She was not going to be alright.

....and calm as the lake.

Oh, this was really not good. Now he recognized what was going on. She was claustrophobic, to a major degree. This plane ride wasn't going to be pleasant for her at all. And he had to do something or else she will faint in mid flight. He looked to the pilot, "Let's get this bird off the ground soon."

He then did what any concerned friend would: he consoled her in any way he could, "Evie," he said, hopefully she would pay attention before he put one of his hands over hers and smiled, "You're not alone. I'm here. It will only be a couple hours, I promise. Just stay with me alright?"

He hoped that was enough to keep her from going crazy, even as the plane lurched forward and began to rise into the air. He was really one of those guys that didn't like to see someone suffer. And in her case, she was suffering greatly. He couldn't imagine what it was like, except unless it had to deal with clowns.

Gentle as a lamb....

Evie opened her fear-filled eyes and glanced towards him upon hearing her name spoken, tensing for a brief second as he placed his hand on hers before relaxing ever so slightly. Jonathan would be able to feel her trembling, even with such little contact as that. At the confirmation of how long the flight would be, she quietly whimpered. She really didn't think that she could make it that long...

"I-I'll try... But I don't think I can m-make it that long...!!" she gasped, trying to think about anything other than how the walls seemed to be closing in, or how it felt like there was a crushing weight on her chest, making it hard to breathe, or how alone she had felt all those years ago....

....and calm as the lake.

It was really a crippling fear. That's what it sounded like anyway. Her trembling hand, the quiet whimper when he told her that the flight was going to be a little while. He closed his eyes and tried his best to stay calm and not panic. If he panicked, then she would panic even more, and that would not be well for either of them. So he would have to be the rock while they were going to Gotham.

"You can make it," Jonathan said. Then he did something a bit unexpected: he hugged her in an attempt to calm her down and remind her that she isn't alone without actually saying it, "If you need to hold onto someone, hold onto me. Think about Camelot, think about the Knights that helped you. Galahad, Percival, Arthur. Think of them. Keep your mind off your current situation and you'll be fine."

Words to live by. As he said this, the plane began to lift off the ground. Next destination was Gotham City. If his words helped at all, she would be just fine for the entire trip. Though he probably can't say the same thing for the arm she will likely cling to for the whole trip.

Gentle as a lamb....

Evie was on the verge of a panic attack when Jonathan suddenly hugged her, somewhat bringing her back to her senses. She realized that she needed to try and calm down, that there was no need for her to be quite this scared. Unlike in those awful moments of her childhood, she had someone there for her. This time, she wasn't alone. Still, it only lessened her fear, not eliminated it, and when he offered to let her hold onto him, she immediately took him up on it, clinging to him like her life depended on it.

Evie's did her best to distract herself, thinking about her friends at the cafe, the knights who had trained her, the wizard who had saved her, even thinking about the unusual events leading up to this moment. After a while, her trembling stopped. Maybe she would be alright....

A female figure could be seen sitting on a revolving desk chair behind a massive computer bank of computer screens. Just by looking at the screens and user interfaces any flap jack could tell that this was perhaps the most advanced computer system in the world, or at least on the Ferris Aircraft facility. Images of aircraft with foreign writing flashed across the screens, and the occasional download bar. The fact was that all of the information was being downloaded at alarmingly fast rates, quicker than the information's owners could detect, but it was not being stored on the computer terminal being used. So where could it have been being stored?

Letting out a yawn, the female figure leaned back in the chair and raised her hands above her head, stretching in the most obvious matter.
"This is sooooooooooo boring. What I would I wouldn't give for a Jagerbomb right now...or....something interesting...Ugh." As the chair spun around, the screens that had just moments before been alive and flickering with aircraft images and languages from all over the world went dark. The female figure stood up from the chair in the dark and walked over to a small narrow window, looking out through the window.

By any standards the female figure was very attractive. Her build was skinny and thin, however toned muscles could be seen through her tight fitting clothes. The female wore a tight fitting black top that went all the way up to her neck, but was divided in the middle down to show about one third of her cleavage. Her chest was not very big, but they were of modest size and somehow her top did not reveal too much around her chest area, other than the expose cleavage. The top was trimmed with a hot pink color that was accented by the presence of a couple of pure white patches. Around her waist was a pink miniskirt that was divided in the front and back. However that revealed nothing since her top extended in those areas to leave her covered, making the top more of a dress than a top. Long black stockings with garters to hold them up covered her from mid-thigh down, and over the stockings were almost knee-high white boots. Her hands were covered with black gloves styled in the same way as her top. However, much of her skin was still exposed, and each piece of exposed flesh was the same. Lightly tanned and extremely soft.

Brushing a strand of her reddish-brown hair out of her face, the female blinked her soft red eyes, looking out of the window at the surrounding complex. Jet noise could be heard every couple of minutes here during the day, and Jezebel had gotten used to it. Ferris Aircraft company, a forerunner in aircraft technology. It was the place where she had added the technology to allow herself to fly, and the one place that employed her very specific skills.

Letting out a sigh, Jezebel turned away from the window and walked over to the small fridge in the room. With each step her boots made a soft clicking sound that echoed in the otherwise noisy room. Her job was done for the day and now she could relax. It was just somewhat lucky that she worked from the home that Ferris Aircraft had given her. Reaching into the fridge Jezebel pulled out a small green bottle with the symbol of a deer and cross in a circle and a can of Red Bull, sugar free of course. She then made her way through a set of sliding double doors into another room.

This room was quite different. The only technology in the room consisted of a large flat screen television, a few gaming consoles, and living necessities and luxury appliances such as a stove, microwave, etc. The room was done in out in colors like purple, pink, and black, with various other colors here and there. In front of the television was an obviously comfortable and plush black couch tripped with hot pink. And, after grabbing a small shot glass, that was exactly where Jezebel parked her perfectly toned buttocks. Filling the glass two thirds with Red Bull and the other third with Jagermeister, Jezebel took the full shot in one gulp before grabbing the television remote control and turning on the television. Instantly the room was filled with the sounds of cartoons, especially the fairly humorous Teen Titains Go! cartoon series.

Amar'e Goldblaze

Amar'e wasn't quite sure where she was. She had ended up leaving the city with a fellow Tamaranean in it. The last thing they spoke about got to her mind constantly, a job. She needed to earn money if she wanted to survive her. She did some quick side things during teh week that got her some cash, but other then that, she was basically poor and homeless. There wasn't a problem with that in her mind, after all, she didn't have to pay for a house. As a Tamaranean she also has the advantage of not needing food as frequently to survive. However, things like clothes she could not go that much without. She had a few things on her, but that was about it. She wasn't a filthy pig, she could use a few more pieces to swap through.

Not sure of Human needs and requests for jobs, Amar'e need to go somewhere that knew such information. Staring at th eplace before her, she had heard some folks in side could possible help her. A girl that was amazing with computers and could pull up information in seconds. Stopping in front of the door she knocked on it and waited.

As the cartoon episode finished, Jezebel fixed herself another Jagerbomb and downed it quickly, not even slightly feeling the alcohol in her body. Perhaps it was because she was half machine that her body could process alcohol fairly well. She could still get drunk. It just took a bit more than it would take for most people, and the drunken stupor never lasted as long either. That's why she always drank hardcore alcohol. But most days the alcohol level in her body stayed low enough for her machine half to not worry about processing it, and it allowed Jezebel to keep that pre-buzz feeling that she enjoyed to relax.

As she prepared to pour another drink there was a knock at the door, followed by a holographic projector displaying a view of the door stoop directly in front of Jezebel. Raising an eyebrow, Jezebel's eyes scanned over the female figure, easily being able to see the woman's long blonde hair and purple eyes. Instantly she ran the woman's image through the web and few pictures popped up, some in fights and other just normal pictures where the woman was in the background. Still, none of the information was cause for an alarm, so Jezebel shrugged the fights off.

Setting down the glass half full of Red Bull, having not touched the Jager again yet, Jezebel walked to the door and pushed a button next to it. The door would slide open, revealing the very girlish interior of the building that Jezebel called home. The sun hung brightly in the outside sky and Jezebel squinted for a moment to adjust to the light outside. Soon her eyes locked gazes with the girl standing on the door step. Jezebel propped herself up against the door frame, her left hip resting on the door frame. Looking the girl up and down, Jezebel could not help but notice that the woman was fairly attractive, and naturally smiled at the woman kindly.
"Sup? Can I help you?"

Once Amar'e was greeted, or rather had the door open. She questioned what she wanted which was to be expected. Speaking up the blonde would get straight to the point. "I heard rumors you could fix me up. I've been trying to look for some means of making money, a job, however, I like one of the most important things. An I.D." Hopefully the woman would not ask questions as to why she didn't have one.

Jezebel stood in her doorway, watching and listening to the woman as she got right to the point. So the woman needed some way to make money, and an ID. Of course the first question was why the woman didn't even have an ID yet.
"Well. To the point. I like that. If you don't have an ID and you don't want one....you could always become a stripper." Turning away from the door and walking back inside, Jezebel motioned for Amar'e to follow her inside.

Instead of walking over to where her computer consoles were, Jezebel instead plopped back down on the couch in front of her television. With her eyes on the television instead of on Amar'e, Jezebel spoke again, assuming Amar'e was right by her.
"Then again, something tells me that you're a bit to shy for something like that. Well...I'll need some info from you. Name. Birthday. Address. Well, I can make all of that up if you want? Or you can make the name true and we can make the rest hope. Make you at least twenty one if you're not already. That way you can drink and party without problem. ID first...then we'll worry about your job. I'll have to pretty much craft you an entire identity."

The girl had a point. Being someone with such a profession did not require such formalities. People didn't care about it, and as a matter of fact they preferred such situations like hers. Sadly for the men of this world, Amar'e did not care to strut around with her body for eyes to feast upon. She'd have had plenty of that already. Honestly, although it may not seem like it, the blonde woman was curious to get a taste of a fairly "normal" life style. However, it probably was still going to be far from over. "Amarie for first name... the rest can be up to you." She figured the woman in front of her knew what she was doing. She figured she'd have a better chance of giving her a human name then she would herself. As for the age, it didn't matter to her. "Yes, I'm around that age, give or take a year." Amar'e had lost a bit of track on time, she coudln't recall if she was exactly 21 or slightly under, or over. She figured a year more or less wouldn't kill anyone. It was trivial data. Though if saying she was 21 gave her more opportunities and less restrictions, she was all for it.

Jezebel nodded as Amar'e spoke, really giving her nothing to go off of at all. However, that was not really unusual. People needing new IDs, or even their first ID, often tried to give as little information as possible. Reaching down by the couch, Jezebel pulled out a laptop covered in random pink and purple stickers. Turning the laptop on, almost instantly she began to type, her fingers flying across the keyboard at an amazing rate. With all of her attention on the computer, or so it seemed, Jezebel created a completely new, California style driver's license for Amar'e. How the picture of Amar'e had gotten onto the ID might would be a bit of a mystery, but if asked Jezebel could explain that fairly easily.

Stopping typing, Jezebel clicked a few things on the screen and set the laptop aside, looking at Amar'e.
"Your ID is printing and your information is slowly being integrated with California's personnel systems and data records. I made it all simple. You were born in coast city, raised in coast city. Your parents recently moved to another country but you decided to stay here. And that's all until now, well, this point in time for your artificial background. No one will ask questions, but the information has be put into the systems slowly or it will draw suspicious attention. Give it two or three days before you try to apply for a job or anything, Amar'e. Now that that is all done, oh and we'll get you all the documentation you need. It's all printing out with your ID now. Anyway, since you're here, and can't apply for a job for a few days.....care to have a drink?"

Amar'e listened quietly as the girl worked her magic. The background seemed simple enough. It was a bit troublesome she had to wait a few days but, she had enough cash on her at the time being from a random underground fight she came across. Without a job she had to make her money somehow and if she wasnt stripping, she had to find other solutions. Easying up, after all she was not as tense as she was when she first arrived, Amar'e calmly waited. The invite to share drinks was not expected. Blinking Amar'e thought it over and shrugged. "Sure... got nothing better to do."
