Stryker's Island Reception and Foyer Although not the only way in or out of Stryker's, this reception serves as the registration point for new inmates or others whom are being transferred to Oa or The Fortress. They need to come here in order to gain access to the facility.

Allies: Prison Wardens Enemies: Ruby Shen Saving: A lot of people and hassle.
The Green Lantern kept Ruby contained in his tractor beam but his muscles were beginning to ache from the exertion. His arm became dull, his eyes were finding it hard to stay open but his mission and purpose kept him in control and in line. He had to deliver Ruby to Stryker's and then she would be out of his hair. She would be locked up. Ian could go to bed. And even if she did escape, it seemed as though the Green Lantern had procured the help of someone who could easily deal with Ruby should she escape. It had gotten tense back on the Island Paradise the Amazon Prince lived on but in the end, the two of them had done what needed to be done. It seemed like a little bit of a cop out at some points but having the Will to compromise was something a Green Lantern had to do if he was going to be successful in his sector.
There were so many different laws and species with their own unique laws that it was hard to keep track of them all. But a strange sense of drain and fatigue began to come over Ian once again; his feet skidding to a halt barely on the Prison's sands. It seems I'm not quite as good at this as I think I am. He thought to himself, setting Ruby down on the shore. "You okay back there?" The Green Lantern spoke back to his captive. "Welcome to your new home."

Ruby Shen ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Ruby sighed as her feet touched down onto the ground for the first time in hours. She looked up at the massive complex , so this was prison? Not quite the same as the dungeon under her family's estate but it certainly looked intimidating, though if that's all it was remained to be seen. "Look, take me to prison if you want but dont try and act like you give a damn about my well being pok gai" The disgraced amazon looked out of the corner of her eye and saw the green man looking as though he was about to pass out on the spot. Wish a sigh and a shake of her head Ruby walked over to the man and hooked his arm over her shoulders in an attempt to help him walk a bit easier "Just..where's the front door? I want to get this over with, also want to make a phone call. I need to make sure my housekeeper has a key so she can feed the dogs"

Allies: Prison Wardens Enemies: Ruby Shen Saving: A lot of people and hassle.
GL didn't care for his captive, he was just being polite. When you went to a Militarty Base and slaughtered innocent people; she should have beeen grateful for every bit of sympathy you get but it's just how Ian was. He couldn't help but try. He couldn't help but be somewhat compassionate. He felt Ruby try and walk towards him like a tug of the Tractor beam and, by default, his arm. She would not move but warily, Ian lifted her a couple of inches back off the ground and shook his head. Whatever she thought she was doing wouldn't work and slowly but surely, the Green Lantern of Earth would walk towards the Foyer through the doors and towards the desk to process Stryker's soon to be newest inmate. "Don't worry Ruby, I don't care. I just forgot myself is all. Once you're process, I don't have to deal with you anymore."
The guard behind the desk looked up towards Ian with a frightened expression; his eyes widened and looked past the Green Lantern towards Ruby, floating helplessly in the air in the Green Beam of light. "What the ******** is this?" He yelled pulling a gun on the Green Lantern "What are you doing here? What are you doing with her?" The look of disapproval on the Green Lantern's face must have spoken volumes because the guard lowered his gun almost instantly. Ian shook his head and replied: "This is the meta that attacked Port West. I need you to NOT be an idiot and put her where she needs to go. A few items were left with the Amazons but I have her custom guns that should be enough to prosecute. Now, can you show me where I need to go to drop her off and then I can drop them off, okay?"]
"Now listen here kid-!" "No! You listen to me!" Green Lantern roared, bringing Ruby closer to the man's desk. "This woman needs taking and if I have to leave her here I will, so take me to where I need to put her and where I need to hand over the evidence! This way, I can save a lot of people and you can get a tiny measly sense of what it's like to ACTUALLY do something to help people rather then run a theme park, huh?" The guard said nothing but instead pointed Ian towards the maximum security unit. "There are a couple of cells in there for her. Try in there. I'll process her. Her uniform and stuff shall be delivered to her cell. I-I-I'm sorry."
The Green Lantern's face looked slightly guilty. "No, I am sorry. I've just... seen some stuff tonight... it's been crazy let me take her. Thank you. Let me get you a drink from the machine after this. As an apology." And with that, Ian took Ruby to her new cell, disappearing into the dark heart of Stryker's...

------------------------------------------------------ With: Prison Staff // Where: Front Desk // OOC: … It had been exactly a year and six months since Lars had been condemned to this “facility”. One year and six months since he had been ripped away from those he loved and those he longed for. It would be an understatement to say imprisonment hardened him. No, what he experienced and what he gained would be more than a deviant attitude. He acquired knowledge, skills, and a criminal drive. It was a wonder how the justice system allowed such a young mind to be so contaminated. Being brought in at the ripe age of thirteen created a buzz in the media. They called it “wrong” and “disgusting” but the words never affected the desire of renowned professor Hugo Strange, whose work had been heavily criticized yet praised.
Being escorted to the front desk by a trio of guards, the young criminal passed several cells which erupted in applause. Soon, the prison would be in a loud uproar with a rhythmic chant of “CROW! CROW! CROW!” Though the walls were thick with concrete, it was not adequate enough to block out the sounds. ”It’s been a long time coming, Fellas.” Lars muttered with a laugh as he trailed behind two of the three guards. Stopping at the door leading to the reception, Lars turned back to face the criminals one more time and flipping them all off. ”I’ll miss you guys as much as I miss the pigs watching you!” he yelled aloud, creating a bellow of inmate laughter.
Ready to shout another provocative statement, the juvenile waved for the attention of his peers but was shoved through the door before a word could slip out of his mouth. ”Funny guy, huh? Keep it moving, kid,” the guard behind Lars hissed before slamming the door shut.
Scoffing at the guards whom escorted him, Lars questioned how any of them would fair in a fight with any one of the criminals they watched. It didn’t take a genius to deduce the fight would be extremely lopsided. Approaching the reception desk, Lars could see a cardboard box sitting atop the table with his name labelled on it. It was the same cardboard box he emptied his belongings into the day he stepped into the prison. ”How rudimentary,” Lars commented to himself as he dug into the box. It took him seconds to change out of his prison attire into his civilian clothes. He didn’t mind the watchful eyes of the guards. In fact, he’d become quite accustomed to it. Admittedly, he’d grown very used to the fact of being monitored and conducting himself accordingly.
Reaching into the box, Lars retrieved a final item concealed in an opaque bag. As he opened the tiny bag, the juvenile turned it upside to allow the contents to fall out. In the corner of his eyes, he could see the skeptical faces of the guards who supervised his release. They were obviously concerned of the contents but had to trust it wasn’t anything dangerous. ”Don’t worry. Just a simple earring,” he stated in a calmly manner. The earring, however, was more than simple to the boy. It was a significant object to him and belonged to his adoptive sister. It was a memento of the times he loved and now desires. Threading the pin of the earring through a miniscule hole in his left ear, Lars slightly grimaced. Wearing it would be heavier than he thought. ”I’m ready, lets go.” he said in finality to the guards as they made way for the door.

Allies: Prison Wardens Enemies: Saving: A lot of people and hassle.
The Green Lantern couldn't quite hear himself think as he emerged from the max security unit. He looked towards the young boy that everyone seemed to be chanting at and was actually quite concerned. A boy so young, in here, a place for hardened criminals? Ian couldn't quite believe what he was seeing; both in the fact that this boy was even on Stryker's and the other being that he had somehow earned the respect and even, in some occasions, the adoration of some seriously heavy hitting criminals. He continued to watch as the boy was escorted to the desk, mystified by his very presence until eventually after collecting his things he was gone. He raised an eyebrow towards a guard: "When did Stryker's become a daycare?"
The Guard who had escorted the young man laughed, folding his arms across his chest and looked down on the young Green Lantern as if he'd asked the most stupid question ever asked on the face of the Earth. He scoffed. Then with a sneer replied: "Obviously ain't been on the job too long ave you, Nightlight?" He pointed towards the direction that the youngster had left in. "Kid's a nightmare. Better watch out for him, you mark my word, he'll be somethin' big in this city one day." Ian once again raised an eyebrow, his ring beeping with sudden burst of Green Light much like when someone was receiving a phone call. "You don't believe me about the kid, kid? Your loss. Also, you going to answer that?" Ian couldn't help but blink, unsure about what the guard meant. "Your ring... It's... Ringing... I think..."
"Oh sorry," Ian groaned, taking himself away outside and putting the ring up to reveal a small hologram of who was trying to reach him. "Green Lantern here." A small bust of Salaak appeared in a green cone, his arms out of shot but obviously scrambling for his screens. Ian waited a second but after not receiving any form of recognition, coughed. "Salaak?" "Oh, Lantern Wickes, you're there-" "Could you kinda keep your voice down with my whole name thing! Secret identity, remember?" "Oh, I'm sorry Lantern. I have never really understood you humans and your need for secrecy. Lanterns Stewart and Gardener were always so bold with their-" "Salaak! The point?" Shaken, the usually calm alien went rigid and raised what Ian presumed was an eyebrow at the rather rude Earthling. "Is everything alright 2814?" "Sorry, long night. What can I do you for Salaak?" "Oh, that would explain the large surge of energy from your ring earlier. I won't pry. But I'm going to have to be sorry to inform you that your night may be extended by quite a bit." "Oh, awesome." "Yes, the activity on your planet does seem to be awe inspiring." "Sarcasm Salaak, Sarcasm." Ian pinched the bridge of his nose with his free hand. "What have you got for me?" "Emotional Spectrum signatures. Neither are Green. Red and Yellow by the looks of things; I've sent the coordinates to your ring. It's probably just some enemy corpsmen fighting. But Sinestro has sworn to maintain order in Sector 2814 in Lantern Jordan's memory. Odd but fascinating. Also, I would like to add you are harder to read than Lantern Jordan ever was." "Okay, I've got you. I'll check it out. 2814 out."
Salaak's small avatar disappeared from sight and Ian was left alone in the dark outside the Stryker's foyer. He looked towards the stars for a second and sighed to no one but the cold air. He was desperate for some sleep but it seemed as though, just for tonight, all the stars had aligned against him. He would be far from fresh for his weird "date" with Mira, whatever she was, and he'd probably be out of juice by the time he got home. Whatever was happening needed to be over quickly because even as he stood, Ian's body began to feel heavier and heavier. He hovered in the air for a second, glowing a fanstaic emerald as he did so and then zoomed off in the direction of Salaak's request.
At least one positive thing seemed to come of all this... It was on Ian's way home...

As Jane landed on the island, her armor shifted into a less combat and more guard like armor. Checking her cell phone as he walked towards the foyer, there was a sighting of a new super being in Metropolis as well as a new prisoner on this very island that had slaughtered an entire base.
She wasn't a hero, but she was human. And for some reason, it just didn't sit right with her that some mass murderer got to sit in a cell all day and live an easy life until she broke. It made her angry because her sister sat in a cell, innocent, rotting away as if she was a villain.
Flashing a badge, she entered the prison, she had work to do. A team to assemble and a sister to get back.

"Your idea is that you see strength as a way to inspire, endear and protect the people. It is a noble aspect, and one worthy of a hero, but only words as of this point."Oliver appeared in one of the hallways in the prison, behind the reception and entrances into the main area, before he heard movement, soon walking through as if he was on a patrol before he noticed a girl pass, definitely younger than him from the look of things, before he followed in suit, his mind set on finding either the area of the prison where the woman was located, or to at least find a place viewing it. 'this is where the path of my ambition begins.' Oliver thought as he looked around the guards that passed him while he walked out of the hallway, turning to the direction of the main area of the prison. He then concentrated on the darkness to cover his face, his face changing to look scarred enough to look different from his own, his pace quickening as the darkness around any camera's he was near would soon be covered in darkness to keep vision blurred. A smirk soon popped on his face as he turned to another direction, seeing a guard heading deeper in from a message on their radio and following behind. 'Let the games begin.'"If your belief to what strength means is as you claim, then why is it that I managed to move civilians out of the area so easily when I could've just killed them with the same strategy?”

The guards knew she wasn't one of them, it was obvious in her appearance. Yet, this was a government ran prison and she worked for the government. Hitting the button on the elevator, the door opened and she entered. Closing directly behind her, it was time to head to the maximum security area of the prison. The first member of her team was there.
[ Exit ] NPCs The guards watching the security camera noticed something strange as a person suddenly changed their face, but that was not the only thing. The cameras were blacking out. "This is Sierra Four, Alpha level threat in the Foyer. Repeat, Alpha level threat in foyer. Alpha in corridor B-3 heading to the elevator!" Hitting the lockdown button in the foyer. Titanium doors would drop, blocking the exit to the elevator and any exits. The lights in the hall would illuminate as if they were in the sun, with red, blue, and white illuminating the halls and outside yard. Lighting up everything unless they were hidden behind an object.
The guards in the area would flood the halls with handguns drawn. They'd cut off man with the scarred face that was oddly dressed. "Don't move!"
OOC: Not trying to be a d**k, but you kinda goof'd bruh. You didn't even say you were in a uniform or not.

"Your idea is that you see strength as a way to inspire, endear and protect the people. It is a noble aspect, and one worthy of a hero, but only words as of this point."Oliver had just turned a corner when the lights suddenly brightened, his own instincts shutting his eyes and concentrating on the darkness that was within where the lights screwed into. He had prepared for this situation prior when he was speaking to Mackenna, but he didn't expect it to happen as soon as he entered. He decided to work on the present problem, soon forming three head sized spheres that would scatter into smaller ones when they made contact, soon firing them up and smashing into three areas above him; above, behind and in front. The spheres immediately broke their first set and smashed through the others at a good radius, granting him enough shading to cover a decent four feet radius around him. With this he quickly lifted up his right hand, an illusion forming up from him that would hide him from any guards that would approach.. 'four seconds, another six and I would've been stuck.' Oliver thought as he squeezed his left hand shut, destroying the cameras around him as he gave his signal to Gnarl's mind, soon changing into his own armor as the guards started popping up, the illusion around him soon swirling to change into a black cloud as illusions of demons and monsters poured out, each varying on the mind of the person who saw them, his eyes scanning the way the guards were set up. 'Looks like I can't just walk in, so I'll have to improvise.'"Normally, I'd ask you to step aside." Oliver spoke in a ruff voice as his armor and voice finished fairly quickly, the illusions now coming back into the cloud of darkness and strengthening his armor at a blinding rate. the cloud them merged into it as well, revealing his form now as his vocal chords were changed again, allowing him to talk like he had been. "But I know when I'm beaten." With that said he held up his hands, the darkness forming around them while the guards wouldn't see it. It was a trick he had learned three years ago that could knock his enemies away from him, and in this small space it would be the best item for him to use, since it would take the lights with it. 'Lief, change of plans.' Oliver thought as he tugged into the darkness linking him to his minion, releasing the blast at the same time to where it would fire a thirty yard radius, though it would only go through the hallways themselves. 'You need to work on finding the room while I'm a distraction, given the amount of people that are now swarming me. Can you handle it?'"If your belief to what strength means is as you claim, then why is it that I managed to move civilians out of the area so easily when I could've just killed them with the same strategy?”

NPCs As the intruder shut his eyes, the guard in front of him turned around on his heels after hearing the transmission. His gun drawn as the others start to come. "Don't move." He shouted. But then again, he probably asked for too much as orbs appeared. Scared shitless, he would empty his entire clip into the freak the moment they appeared. He had to have killed the guy, no one could dodge those.

"Your idea is that you see strength as a way to inspire, endear and protect the people. It is a noble aspect, and one worthy of a hero, but only words as of this point."Oliver grunted as he felt each bullet hit him. Despite his pain, he willed two of his spheres up into the lights around him, the third releasing itself early and firing the smaller forms in a scatter shot, thirty in total with three of the smaller spheres heading for the guard that fired at him while ten others hit into his own body, passing through and towards anyone else near him. Both spheres hit their marks as he hit the ground, the extra darkness from their hits giving him the darkness needed to both heal and defend while his armor formed over him as if his own body was the illusion. The new darkness around him then went along the walls and crept to his armor, seeping in while anyone who didn't know what exactly to look for would only see a armored figure on the ground. Four hit his chest, three hitting around the spine and one almost hitting his heart, lungs partially ruptured from each bullet. The other two had hit his shoulder blades, and were healing as he felt the blood coming out. However, each bullet was still inside, so he still had a 'If I want my identity hidden, I need the blood from my wounds to keep from coming out.' Oliver thought as each bullet was being forced out of his body, rolling under the armor and onto his back before he began healing. As he was healing, he felt an alertness pour from his minions links to him, making him grin under his helmet as he sent back a signal to show he was fine. 'Might as well wait for them to come near to see if I'm really dead, otherwise I'll just be shot up more while I'm healing. Then we start having fun.' "If your belief to what strength means is as you claim, then why is it that I managed to move civilians out of the area so easily when I could've just killed them with the same strategy?”

  Atticus Emry Superman?
Location:Stryker's Island Company: The Darkness and some guard Thoughts: Round Two FIGHT!
Atticus had remained in the stratosphere absorbing as much yellow rays of the sun as he could. While at the same time he was extended his sense out across the world practicing just simply listening. Pin pointing sounds and voices relegating threats and trying to figure out what he was going to do next. That last fight against the 2 armored figures made Att realize that he was going to have to plan out what he was going to do more clearly. He couldn't be surprised and stopped like that again. So he just listened and charge absorbing all of the sun's yellow rays. That was until he heard the screams of a guard about dark monsters and an encroaching darkness spreading in Stryker's. Looking down from the sky using x-ray and telescopic vision. He looked down into Stryker's seeing the dark figure attacking a guard in the hallway. Atticus couldn't help but smirk as he realized that maybe he could go for a round two. And moving as supersonic speeds flew down and into Stryker's. Moving at such a blurring speed that he was able to get ahead of the smaller spheres fired at the guard.
Though Atticus didn't slow, he quickly turned around and opened up with a high intensity wide heat vision blast that not only illuminated and burned away the orbs. It would flood forward enveloping and toasting every single orb and pushing back he shadows with it's intense red light. With the darkness temporarily pushed back Atticus stopped. Waving his hand towards a nearby door. "Go quick get help. I think you are going to need some of the big guns. If I don't end this quick." Though as he looked at his opponent that's when his super sensitive nose caught it....blood and it wasn't coming from the dark figure remaining in front of him. It didn't take a genius to see what was going on. Atticus unleashed a powerful super-breath that would drop the hallway and the entire area around the Myrkr into a flash freeze. That solidified most of the air and the walls into ice freezing anyone remaining inside instantly.

"Your idea is that you see strength as a way to inspire, endear and protect the people. It is a noble aspect, and one worthy of a hero, but only words as of this point."Oliver grunted as he saw the Man of Steel appear in front of the guard the spheres were aiming for, watching them fade from his heat vision along with any of the other orbs remaining. However he still wasn't fully healed, and his own power still needed a few seconds to reach it's full control, but he managed to at least give himself some form of darkness. 'Come on, only a few more seconds.' Oliver thought as he saw the kryptonian used his heat vision take out any remaining spheres as his wounds finished healing, allowing him to direct his powers to form a form of shielding around his main body, though his armor would look otherwise as it changed color from the heat. 'Well then, looks like you have one other problem.' the Great Darkness spoke, Oliver finally feeling him begin to move in his mind. Oliver had started to get up before a portal opened and his sword fell in front of him, stabbing itself into the ground as the Man of Steel looked back to the guard to speak to him, giving Oliver enough time to grab his blade while he kept kneeled while looking at the kryptonian. Oliver then noticed him sniff the air before he began freezing the area in front of him, Oliver's shielding being the only think keeping him from truly freezing inside. 'Do you think he realizes you weren't dead?''Either that or he's using it to try and hold me in, which would've been possible if I didn't create this shielding inside my armor.' Oliver thought as his blade began to hum with darkness, it's own power invisible as it went into the ground and crept through to the roof and lighting, Oliver's eyes still lying dormant in his armor as he stared at the kryptonian, his mind reaching out to the minions he needed. 'Lief, enter the area you remember being where they hold top priority cell mates, or at least somewhere near it. I'll be a distraction for the man of steel and the guards.'With that sent, he fired a blast from the pommel of his blade, it's radius hitting fifteen yards around him and shattering the ice holding him in, along with any other form as he stood up, his eyes glowing a dark orange while his vocals changed again. "If your belief to what strength means is as you claim, then why is it that I managed to move civilians out of the area so easily when I could've just killed them with the same strategy?” Oliver's Full Control: 30 minutes ((I really want to have him do a thing right now, but I'll wait since I'm not sure if I should or not.))
