City Center

Downtown area and home to the Flash Museum, dedicated to the exploits of the second Flash, Barry Allen. Now it is a memorial to the great man and hero.

Darius would walk into City Center where he would see the Museum of his great grandfather on Earth Prime. It was now a memorial a shrine to all his great achievements. The City had missed it's hero, so it built him a tomb. Such irony. Darius thought as he smiled and walked toward the great monument to his ancestor. Since he had come here he had only met his great grandmother Iris, and seeing him only seemed to make her want to go deeper off the edge but she welcomed him with such a warm heart and acceptance of who he was quickly, only saying that it had been a blessing from Barry, and not the God they worshiped in this era.

Darius took his skateboard off of his back pack as he kicked off once and was off towards the steps, the one great thing about being a speedster and a skateboarder was that you were never to slow to perform a trick. He looked to the five step as he slammed his left foot down on the tail of the board causing it to rocket up as his left foot at the peak of the board's flight flicked off the edge of the board and he would then spin as it flipped in mid air and he himself was about to land on it in the opposite direction. When boom the explosion sent him flying off of the steps and there stood a man with mirrors along his wrist in an orange and green suit.

"Nyahahaha! ******** this b*****d! let's turn this place into a Mirror Master Museum, without the Flash here no one could stop me anyway!" The man said obviously being the Mirror Master, as only a vain and egotistical b*****d would want a museum after himself. Darius looked at his board, splintered and broken pieces of it everywhere. He looked at the b*****d who broke his board as he only put on a face of fear as in his head he was pissed. He ran off away from the villain only to give the appearance of being a normal bystander. He looked to his ring and shook his head. He pressed the ring with his thumb as a red suit popped out of it and in a twister of movement Darius had suited up placing his goggles on as he turned around quickly to face off with the villain. "Hey! Tall, stupid, and shiny! You like blowing up other people's museums, or did your reflection scare you that bad?" Darius quipped.

The man's jaw hung open as he looked at Darius. Darius's suit was different from his great grandfather's in the sense it was more steam-punkish, having golden buttons at the side but generally being the same after that with goggles as all the other Flashes had. "Did you really think that fake Flash suit would scare me?! Nyahahahaha!!! We all know the real thing is dead, hell you obviously have no attention to detail either, he wasn't a steam-punk Flash you know?" The man retorted. Darius could hear the murmuring of those around him the speed of sound reached him quicker than others making it easier for him to hear things quicker from a distance. The people were curious to who he was and if he was the real thing, was the Flash really back. Darius sighed as he quickly thought of another quip. "Well ugly, you best to believe I'm the real deal, no reflection in the world could copy this much handsome." Darius replied quick and wittily.

It was true what he said he and his great grandfather were not so different in appearance aside from hair color. They both had strong builds, defined facial features, and the electrifying sky blue eyes, if Darius was blonde he could easily pull off a Barry Allen, but the suit hid his hair regardless so no one would be able to tell. The Mirror Master only fumed and began throwing mirror disks at Darius obviously tiring of his wit. Darius dodged them all with ease moving at not even close to his relative super speed, or even moving out of place. "Come on now, Ugly, and you can't aim? You obviously do not deserve a monument to yourself if you have nothing great to offer." Darius joked. It seemed he was on a roll today cause the red on the Mirror master's face was almost reaching burgundy he was really tiring of the jokes. Which is kind of what Darius had hoped for an angered person is usually quicker to action than thought, the Mirror Master was obviously just that as he began shootings disks and light ray at Darius who now had to move to evade them.

He moved quickly making his way behind the Mirror Master although he had to admit that the light beam did catch his arm and cut his suit slightly leaving him with a nice long cut on his arm, but he was being cocky, so of course he'd get hurt. He tapped the Mirror Master on the shoulder as the smoke cleared to reveal he wasn't there as the villain turned in shock. Darius clicked his tongue as he socked the villain in the face knocking him unconscious then tying him up, for the authorities to come get as well as picking up the usable pieces of his board and putting them by his stuff. The surrounding citizens all looked at him with awe as they began to smile and clap and cheer fervently.

"Impossible! You were gone! You were finally gone!" The Mirror Master shouted as he was put away. "Ha! Just went to go get a new suit tailored pal, could never leave you guys to roam this wonderful city without me." Darius retorted wittily as he saluted the surrounding people and sped off, retrieving his stuff and getting back into his normal clothes as he stuffed the suit back into the ring. "Ugh, looks like I need to go bandage this cut up before it bleeds through my shirt." Darius said with a sigh as he was gone in the blink of an eye off to Grandma's house.

xxxx Nikita wandered through the nearest city she could find which happened to be the quaint Central City, Kansas. Nikita listened to random pieces of the conversations around her and gazed around at the lettering and grammar structure of this unfamiliar language. Daxam had information on the planet Earth due to Mon-El's adventures so she had been exposed to the language and became fluent rather quickly. Nikita eared a few looks and stares from the people around her but not because she stood out as an alien. The poor girl looked homely; she could hear everyone talk about her. She was dressed in the white gown with short sleeves that only came down halfway to her knees with a matching plastic wrist band with a barcode ID. She had earthy tones of dirt dusted from her feet to her calves and her hair was a little unruly; she didn't know how long she was in stasis therefore her hair didn't have any attention from after the crash.

xxxx She would be lying if she said being stranded here for the time being didn't make her nervous. Her planet was full of xenophobic mind sets and a constant worry about invasion from a stronger race. So far the humans of planet Earth seemed rather friendly often smiling in a way that invited friendliness from the small framed girl. Not wanting to draw more attention to herself, Nikita slipped into a clothing store and went into the fitting room. Hanging in the room was a ladies button up crimson shirt and a short black skirt. She quickly switched outfits as well as shimmying into a pair of dark nylons she had seen so many other ladies wearing. Calmly she pulled her hair up into a messy clip and slipped into some crimson heels on her way out without ever drawing attention, lost in the crowd of women in the shop.

Captain Boomerang

Even in Central City, the repercussions of a city without a hero like The Flash could still be felt. And even though a new Flash was in town, his predecessors old villains were still up to their old tricks. But a couple of them got a few brain cells and upgraded their arsenal. Even if it was just a little bit.

George "Digger" Harkness was one of them. Also known as Captain Boomerang. However, for all of his upgraded arsenal, the Austrailian thug still was up to his old crimes: stealing from jewelry stores. A loud alarm would ring out as the Austrailian criminal stormed out of the store, sack of jewels in one hand and an angry shopkeeper in pursuit. Though said shopkeeper was stopped in his tracks once Boomerang threw a new toy at him, one that exploded and sprayed glue all over his legs, stopping him cold.

"Ya ain't gonna stop me mate," said Digger as he ran, "And the Flash ain't here to send me back to jail."

xxxx Nikita jumped lightly at the sound of the siren and looked behind her as people started to run into shops and alleys trying to get out of the path of this man. Her head tilted curiously, obviously whatever the man had didn't belong to him and it would without a doubt make the shopkeeper suffer in some fashion. She glanced past the robber to check on the shopkeeper, he was fine other than being glued where he was standing.

xxxxNikita wasn't a fan of exploitation; the shopkeeper probably put countless hours into his business and this thug was going to kick the older man down like a bully taking candy from a child. Nikita watched as he ran in her direction and waited. As Captain Boomerang ran past her, Nika calmly flickered just in front of him with super speed and closelined the unsuspecting foreigner.

Captain Boomerang

With The Flash gone, he had robbed the various stores in the City for weeks on end. Anything he wanted, he could of taken. And without a Flash, no one had the guts to stop him. But as he ran away from the shopkeeper that wanted his merchandise back, he forgot to check to check to see where he was ended.

WHACK!

He got clotheslined by some Sheila. He didn't even see the lady before now, she just popped right in front of him and gave him a good wallop. As Captain Boomerang was now on the ground, spilling his ill gotten loot over over the city streets, he looked furious as he checked his face in case she broke his nose. Thankfully she didn't.

"Oy, Sheila! Watch where ya hold ya arms out. Ya could of knock me block off!"

xxxxNikita stood next to him watching as he inspected the possible damage to his face. He is lucky that hit hadn't broken his neck. On Nikita's home planet she did not have superhuman abilities, she was rather normal. So she had put quite a deal of effort into that clothesline. She hadn't been on the planet long before she was put into the stasis chamber and in stasis her body did not process any sunlight. She could feel her body slowly getting stronger the longer she was in the energy of the yellow star. Her body was still processing the light into energy which was the primary reason the australian still had his head.

xxxx Nikita briefly thought to herself, 'Who is Sheila?' but that was not important. With the toe of her crimson heel she gently scooted his treasures away from him, "That was the point. I have a feeling that none of this actually belongs to you... taking things from others isn't very nice you know," True, she had taken the outfit from the clothing store but she had needed it. If she had the money she would have paid for the outfit. Her eyes fell back upon the thief's face prepared for any reaction from him.

"Neither is giving an old bloke a Lariat, Sheila," answered Boomerant, rubbing his nose for a little bit before he stared at the young lady. His nose still felt sore after she gave him a wallop, but as he was talking to her, he did his best to be as sneaky as possible. He had an escape plan for something like this, in case some hero came along and stopped him from getting what he wanted. Problem was keeping her distracted enough in order for him to pull it off.

"Listen Sheila, how about this for a deal? Ya let me go, and I'll split ya the goods, fifty fifty?"

He highly doubted she would take the deal. These hero types never do. But there was always a small chance they were in a lenient mood to let a poor bloke such as himself go. And besides, it kept her distracted.

xxxx Nika's slim eyebrow raised in slight puzzlement, she wasn't entirely sure what some of the things he said were. She watched him as he lay on the pavement, tending to his face. He hadn't made any move to get up yet but he was trying to talk his way out of the situation. She had to admit, she liked his accent. She had heard quite a few of them around the little town and found it quite fascinating.

xxxx Nikita took a few paces towards the the bag of jewels and such that had scattered over the road; her heels clicking just above his head. She knelt down and started putting the sparkling items back into the bag. She kept him in her peripheral; expecting him to run or perhaps even try to swing at her. She didn't really care what he did, she just didn't want the shopkeeper to suffer from one man's greed. It wasn't right. "I'm afraid I'll have to decline..." she smiled over to him. "I don't intend on letting you keep any of it let alone half. Then again it wasn't really yours to give was it?"She returned the final piece of jewelry into the bag and stood up; once again looking down to him waiting for his action.

Oi a*****e! Yeah you! " The threat was simple enough, just one phrase was all he needed to utter to get the man ahead of him's attention. Hideaki had done this enough to know it would work, just letting the man register what had just been said to him. Turning around to face him, the man stomped over to Hideaki with a confused and angry look on his face. What the hell did you just call me? Hideaki grinned then, as the man was already pretty angry. He'd found himself a good target, and knew the man wasn't just going to let him get away with the insult. " I believe I called you an a*****e, did you not hear me? Do I need to call you one again? " By then the man had reared back and let one rip, connecting with Hideaki's jaw. He fell to the ground and was rubbing his jaw, but the grin was still there; which didn't please the man all too much. What you grinning for? I just put ya on your a**. Spitting out a little bit of blood, he worked his jaw slightly to test it. "I was just thinking about how I've been hit harder by kids. That was a real weak pun-- " He didn't even get it out before the man kicked him then, putting a good amount of force behind it. His head jolted back and he was put flat on the ground sprawled out, just laying there for a moment. " A little better, but still. Like I was saying, kids hit harder than you. " That really set him off then, going into a frenzy as he began to pummel Hideaki. He would just sit there and take it though, building up his reserve so he could really unleash his power. When the man grew tired of beating on him, Hideaki would just calmly get himself up and dust himself off. "All done? " The man was breathing heavy then, unable to register why Hideaki was able to get up as if nothing happened.

Hideaki had stored up enough energy from the beating that he was able to take care of the bruises he'd acquired, and still have plenty left for him to do some damage. Picking the man up by his collar with ease, he just wound up and threw him. He hadn't picked a particular target, just tossing him in the direction he happened to be face. Hideaki didn't even bother to see where he landed, already moving on to the next task. Coming upon an oil tanker, he walked over to it and put himself right under the center of the trailer. With a grunt he lifted the thing up with his enhanced strength from absorbing that beating, leaving behind the actual rig that was hauling it. He only needed the tanker, picking it up and tossing it right at the nearest building. It would crash into the building, and as a result just explode. It wasn't exactly flashy or original, but he was in the mood for mayhem and finding himself someone worthwhile. People would all scream and run away in different directions, and Hideaki would just stand there reveling in the destruction and wait for someone to come and try to stop him.

xxxx Nika's head tilted to the side as she listened to the havoc that had broken the customary sounds of the city a few blocks away from her. People were screaming; she could hear the heels of their shoes on the concrete city floor fleeing from something. Nikita looked back down to her robber she was currently dealing with. He had done wrong but he wasn't really a threat to anyone. With a light toss Nika sent the bag of jewels several feet away; skidding to the feet of the still glued shopkeeper. She sighed softly and smiled to the australian, "It looks like you're going to get a hall pass this time. Let's not meet like this again?"

xxxx Without waiting for any response Nika was gone; flickering several blocks away to the location of the latest commotion. She gazed upon the scene, bringing one arm up to block her face from the debris. People frantically running around her as the building crumpled around the tanker sending shards of glass and brick into the street. Her planet was rather mild tempered so Nikita had never dealt with a situation like this, she was at a slight loss of what to do about it. She panned over and noticed one man standing still. He looked peaceful; basking in the screams and panic blaring in the air. That is when a noise caught her attention; she had picked that one noise out from the sea of terrified shouting.

xxxxA whimper. A child, frightened and unsure of what to do had crouched down covering her head with her eyes shut tightly. Instinct flooded her senses and she flickered over to the girl, taking the child several hundred feet from the incident before returning in the time span of a few blinks. Despite any nervousness, Nika squared herself several feet from Hideaki, "Don't you think this is a little uncalled for?

The response time was impressive, as he didn't have to wait long at all before he was getting attention. Looking at the girl before him, he just eyed her up and down as a sly grin formed on his face. It was obvious she didn't agree with what he was doing, even going so far as to question his actions. He just laughed then, throwing his head back into a cackle. " You want an honest answer? I'm sure being the type you are, yeah you do. But do you want MY honest answer? " He stopped laughing then, that sly grin returning to his face. " No, I don't think this is uncalled for. At all. I think what I'm doing is completely necessary. " He let that sink in then, knowing it wasn't the answer she wanted to here. After all he wasn't exactly a good guy, so what did she expect? If she wanted him to just throw his hand up and give up that wasn't going to happen. " So I guess you better do your job huh, try to stop me and all that? Hell, I won't even resist. You can get one free shot in, how does that sound? Right here? Right on the jaw. I know you want to. " He was tapping the spot on his mouth where he wanted her to hit him, trying to egg her on. The more abuse he took the more power he had, so if he could get one super punch from this super girl well he'd be sitting pretty. " Cause I'll tell ya right now, if you don't stop me.. the next tanker I throw won't be at some building. It might be at a crowd.. of maybe children? I'm not sure, them or the elderly. You decide. "

xxxx Nikita watched rather puzzled as the man howled in amusement of what he was doing. Her brow raised slightly and her hands instinctively found there way to her hips as he spoke of her 'type'. What type was he referring to exactly; alien, female, nice? She listened ask he spoke but didn't quite understand. What would posses someone to ask to be punched in the face? She had almost took a man's head off with a clothesline, God knows what a direct punch to the head would do. He struck a cord when he spoke of hurting children. Her brow dropped into a subtle glare; no one he was putting in harms way had done anything to deserve it.

xxxx Nika bit her lip, he did have to be stopped but she didn't really wanna risk killing him. Nika kicked off from her position, not nearly as fast as she could have and went for him, right where he was pointing. Seconds before contact was made Nika instead grabbed at his wrist while spinning off to the side with lightning speed until she was behind him; attempting to lock his arm behind his back.

What he thought was her taking the bait, when she rushed towards him, was instead something completely different. It seemed she wasn't exactly up to the task of trying to hurt him, or so he guessed from her actions. Instead she maneuvered her way around him, grabbing his wrist and locking his arm behind his back. " Oooh. All I asked was for you to clock me in the jaw, but you'd rather get up close and personal. Jeeze maybe I don't know your type. " Even in this situation he was joking around, not at all feeling threatened at his predicament. Laughing once more he just shook his head, struggling a little bit for good show to get out of her hold. " You got a nice tight little grip. That's good, kind of hard to get free.. but I think I'll manage. " Dipping his head forward then, he would launch it straight back. He didn't care where he hit on her body, but he was putting his full force into it. He was attempting to achieve one of two things, either he would actually hit her and do a little damage and in return gaining more energy for his ability. Or he was hopefully going to get her to let him go, not wanting the back of his head connecting with her at all. Either way it was a win-win for him, the reason behind his nonchalant attitude towards the situation.

xxxx Nika wasn't very hopeful when her opponent started laughing; she tightened her grip slightly in an attempt to keep him in place though apparently she wasn't the only one with surprises. He seemed so calm, which could never be good for her. Conflict battled in her mind, she didn't want to hurt him but there might not be many options left. Lost in thought she almost missed his movement; her eyes widened as he snapped his head back towards her. She dropped down behind him, just missing his head and defensively went into a roundhouse in an attempt to take his feet out from under him. Hopefully, knocking him off balance would open him up more.
