Wayne Enterprises
Wayne Enterprises was officially erected in the 19th century and thus is one of the oldest companies in the world. Although, it was founded by Bruce Wayne's ancestors as a merchant house in the 17th century, the company changed when the heir of Judge Solomon Wayne, Alan, utilized his father's wealth and erected the Wayne Shipping company and also the Wayne Chemical company into Gotham City. Wayne Manufacturing soon followed as the fourth branch of the company. All these companies were energized and powered by the world's Industrial Revolution and they kept changing; more branches were opened and built while others dwindled and were discarded. Along the years, it has evolved from a merchant house to a large multinational conglomerate company that can go up against its bigger competitor LexCorp.
Wayne Enterprises became a green company under the control of Patrick and Laura Wayne and has been environmentally conscious from that time forward. Even when environmentalism wasn't a fad or a necessity, Wayne Enterprises followed those ideals. At the turn of the 20th century, Wayne Enterprises was the city in many ways and even now they employ the largest part of the city's considerable work-force.
Through two World Wars and the great recessions the company has come through and with the help of Lucius Fox it now stands as the forerunner in many fields of technology. WayneCorp changed its name to Wayne Enterprises in the 1980's. It has been able to rejuvenate itself many times and has been able to survive and stand tall even after the Cataclysm and the Billion Dollar Build-Up where its efforts were far greater than LexCorp's.
Currently, Wayne Technologies, Wayne Chemicals with Wayne Pharmaceuticals, and Wayne Aerospace stand tall in the forefront of pharmaceutical and technological research and development. They have many joint ventures with Drake Medical and S.T.A.R. Labs and even some with LexCorp.
The company spans the globe and is a large power in the global marketplace. As a multi-billion dollar company on a bad day, it is definitely not going down the drain in a hurry. In fact, it just recently purchased a company that was the forerunner in the field of nano-technology and anti-gravity. Wayne Enterprises was also in the running to build the next space plane and the company's subsidiaries all have multiple government contracts and deals.
Wayne Enterprises has many branches. The company owns mining companies, shipping, oil drilling and refineries, food and agricultural productions and agricultural technology being produced. Some of the most significant things to the normal consumer are consumer electronics like Hi-Fi systems and computers. Wayne Entertainment owns the Sommerset Stadium, its own record label, and the premiere news paper in the world, the Daily Planet. It also has many deals with different entertainers. Wayne Aerospace is a very successful aerospace company that produces, researches and develops aeronautical systems from avionics to airplanes to helicopters to weapons systems. Wayne Technologies researches cybernetics and nanotechnologies along with other bio-engineering systems and pharmaceuticals, along with WayneChem. WayneTech is the healthcare system in Gotham as it owns most of the healthcare facilities in Gotham City and Gotham County. Wayne Steel specializes in manufacturing, steel and metallurgical application, and ship building. Wayne Steel owns three shipyards in the city and many more across the world. Wayne Steel's largest customer is the United States government as the recent crises have left the Navy's ships and weapons depleted. Wayne Enterprises has recently boosted its botanical research with S.T.A.R. Labs and is hopeful of the future of this partnership.
Even though the Billion-Dollar Build-Up was a large strain on Wayne Enterprises, it has quickly bounced back to be a true force to be reckoned with in the global community. Its main headquarters are in the Wayne Tower in Gotham. There are branch offices and headquarters all over the world, with the second largest office tower in New York City.
Of course, Wayne Enterprises is much more than just a place for Bruce Wayne to make money. It is the best way for Batman to get information, news, and rumors from the corporate world. The companies of today are nations unto themselves and they are great forces to be reckoned with. There is also the fact that even though Bruce Wayne is a jetsetting playboy, he works too and Wayne Enterprises gives a great cover story for zipping to wherever and whenever.
At some point, Wayne Enterprises acquired Kord Industries.

Teth looked down upon the building that held the most height in the city and the name of a man who's relevance was of no importance to him. He flew over to it and began walking on the neon name. "Who is this....Wayne? Is he a great warrior? Is he a sorcerer supreme? A God maybe? I think not, it seems the Gods of this planet all have titles, not names so obviously this Wayne person is undeserving." He would say as he kicked down the name with a stomp and as it fell he watched it as he merely floated in place where he was. The Wayne sign fell from a good 200 ft in the air landing hard on the floor destroying parts of the entrance and surrounding area, the screams of many could be heard at the site of the random destruction. Teth merely smirked as he floated to the top of the buildings and looked at every innocent person within the building at the moment of him rising and only smiled as he chopped down cutting the building to a point, and he continued his hand cutting through the building like butter as finally he ended where the beginning of the name had been and all that was there was a roughly drawn lightning bolt. "Much better...pfft, Wayne, who the hell is that?" Teth laughed as he sat atop his newly claimed building.

Partially unnoticed an odd figure wondered semi lost down Gotham's eternally dark streets. Semi lost because this female had no destination she was trying to get to, but neither would she know where she was if she were to be asked. Her appearance stood out amoungst the others but, humans being creatures of habit and selfishness barely noticed her. If they did they probably took her as just another homeless,vagabond,crazy person in the city. Her clothing looked like it was not made for her, and it wasn't. Agrona had aquired them by "theft" or as she called "permanently borrowing". There was nothing feminine about them either. All she basically had on was a very long and loose grey hoodie that completely sagged on her body. Its sleeves falling past her hands, and the top to her thighs. Pants? She had none, but she did have some black boots on. These though seemed to be close to the right size. The hood was over her head, completely shading her face from anyones view.
While people screamed away from the famous building as its destruction took place, Agrona was happily licking away at the icing on a cupcake she managed to slip out of the shop. It wasn't that she didn't hear the screaming she just cared little for it. The lost female would only come to realize what was going on nearby as a large piece of the building landed right behind her. Startled she jumped (like any regular person would react), the cupcake flying out of her hands. Rather than trying to figure out what had just barely missed killing her, she dove forward in an attempt to catch the goody only to miss. In the desparation of not wanting to see such a yummy treat wasted her magic activated. The cupcake levitating inches off the ground. Standing up she dusted her bare legs with the long sleeves. Only after wards did the cupcake levitate back to her hands where sh ehoped to resume eating it in peace.

ᴏᴏᴄ: Anthony had gotten bored of filing down the batarang and was laying across the chair, turning it back and forth a bit. The screens were all pretty still, and there was nothing to do. It was still enough to make him worry about what was coming. Sure enough, a few minutes later, one of the screens lit up with activity. He expanded the screen to get a good look at what was going on, and then he was moving. The chair was left spinning behind him as he ran for the Batcopter. Powering it up, he was out of the Batcave immediately and on his way to Wayne Enterprises. Whoever it was, they could fly, which made Anthony hope he didn't get there too late.
As he flew over the building, he opened the door and jumped out the side, quickly pressing a button on his belt. The copter flew a couple hundred feet away and hovered high in the air. He snapped his cape open and glided down to the top of the building, looking for the one causing chaos.

Teth watched his destruction, and as he did he saw a peculiar sight. There was a woman walking by with a cupcake in hand totally uncaring or oblivious to the fact that there was chaos occurring around her, when the cupcake began floating after the woman's near death he knew he would have to speak to her. He flew down to her picked her up and flew back to the top of the building. "Name, before I disregard my interest in you and drop you." Teth said calmly, and uncaring. But even before he could get an answer a helicopter appeared, well a few of them had but this one was different something about it smelled like a nuisance. He looked up as a bat flew out or at least what he thought to be a bat from a distance as it grew closer it was evident it was a man. Teth would only watch emotionless as he awaited an answer from the young woman.

Before she knew it, Agrona was grasped and carried away like a pup its mothers teeth. Gripping the cupcake in her hands she blinked a couple times at the man before her while semi listening to him and to her ghosts at the same time. Just as she was slowly opening her mouth to speak helicopters entered the scene. Her name lost in the sound of the powerful machines, she had only spoken in a whisper. Her glance gazed down to the cupcake a bit as she gave the icing another lick before returning her gaze back to the man who held her captive. From the look in his eye she could tell he was still waiting for her to give him a name. "Agrona," she repeated again, louder then last time but her voice still soft. "You?" She had questioned herself wither to ask him for his name. She wasn't planning on it, but some of the ghosts were telling her she should. It's only fair after all. Besides she wasn't a rude person.

 R'avin R'age tonight was trying to learn and observe about the Gotham City nightlife as he had heard about it. Shady places, shady people, all wanting to have a good time, whatever that meant. Looking from one side to another, he had sense some sort of an anomaly appear upon a nearby building, wondering if it was the one he was sent to search out, yet he had intentionally kept to Gotham for his purposes of understanding humans before making his presence known to the one who holds the moniker of Superman. He was examining a television display window broadcasting a Gotham villain criminal, Clayface. He listened to it in intrigue, learning of the powers that this being possessed and the components that made his genetic makeup, and that this being was still quite at large. "That is quite something alright," he said, almost wondering why he even had. These human phrases, they were most certainly getting to him.
He could feel the crash of the Wayne sign from the moment this rather powerful being had entered the area. R'avin was not one to mind senseless destruction, but only to those that deserved it so. Instanteously reading the minds of those that were near him that were precisely under the fall radius of the sign, he could determine that only 3 were of innocence, and worth saving, at least for today. At the moment the sign toppled, he sent a force pushing a lady with her stroller and a young boy flying with a push of his telekinetic powers, appearing as if the sign was the cause of the force exerted on them, saving them from their impending doom. He had also done so on himself, as he fell far into a pile of garbage bags down a nearby alleyway, making the impact for only a split second before disappearing through the wall behind the trash. Now, it was time for him to investigate who exactly this lunatic was. His head, now invisibly concealed in the wall that he had submerged himself into, moved onto a high nearby building, peering at this man in a seemingly outdated uniform. Earth fashion, another thing the White Martian did not favour too much, but had to live with it for the foreseeable time he will be on this planet.
He witnessed the man pick up a young girl, in either a romantic, or assaultive kind of way, he was not on Earth for that long to decipher that, only the information that he had required thus far. He listened in to the conversation while noticing the Batcopter, which seemed rather normal to him compared to other helicopters he had seen, but the man who emerged from it was shrouded in a cowl shaped as one of those earth creatures. R'avin was thinking hard as to what it was, a cat, a gnat, a wombat, a rat? Must be a rat, he thought, as he watched on as the man dressed as a caped rat made his way down unto the building that this being who had much more power exuding from him was questioning this female named Agrona. He still was not sure whether he should interfere, especially since they seemed to be having a conversation. Earth etiquette, yet another thing he could happily live without having to be subjected to. The White Martian awaited to see what would happen, with this Egyptian artifact, young girl, and ratman, or perhaps wombatman. He even pondered if this situation was a love triangle as he had heard about from television. R'avin hoped he could learn more of this somewhat interesting species, as he continued to observe.

ᴏᴏᴄ: I'm laughing at R'avin's assumption that this might be a love triangle. As Anthony's eyes focused on the roof he was gliding down to, he realized that the man was no longer alone. There was a woman with him, and it was hard to tell if they were friends or not. Or, at the very least, whether they knew each other. No time to ponder that now. He landed on the roof and rolled to prevent hurting himself. He pulled his cloak around him and walked forward. His hand, hidden by the cloak, pulled two batarangs from his belt and hung at his side. He was going to wait to see how this situation turned out before making an attack.
"You know, I really like this building. Why do you have to go and mess it up?" he asked, stopping a couple dozen feet away from them. No need to get too close and give them an easy target.

Teth looked at her as she stated her name "Agrona" is what she went by. She would then go as far as to ask for his name. Teth smiled as he looked at her. "You're a bold mortal you know...I go by many names, God being one many prefer, but you may call me Black-" Before he could get his words out, there stood a Batman. Speaking on his opinion of the building as though he cared. Teth looked the man in the face and chuckled. "Heh, you know it's strange when a sheep stands up to a Lion. Please humor me Bat....why have you come here?" Teth stated with a calm demeanor, ready to thunder clap this nuisance right off the building, had he proved to not be as funny as Teth thought he would be.

As the masked hero emerged from the air vehicle Agrona blinked as Black something called her daring. What did he mean by that? She was at a bit of a loss. She had no idea really of what had been daring about such a question. His claim to being a divine being made her blink again. Could he really be a God? That would just depend on what powers he had. There was no such thing as a weak God. Before He could finish stating what she could call him by the bat lover spoke. Agrona stayed silent licking and slowly nibbling the cupcake. Something was between the two of them so she wasn't even going to butt in. Was this dark dressed man a God as well. Was this a clash between Gods? Agrona was curious to know so she figured she would stick around. Well, that is assuming Black Adam wasn't holding onto her anymore. If he was, she wouldn't manage to move away anyways. AT least not without using her gifts.
OOC: I have a busyish weekend so my next post may only be on Sunday

R'avin continued to watch as this showdown went on. It was rather paced for him, and the dialogue, he would rather be watching a television show instead. Really, the old Egyptian calls himself a god? Maybe R'avin could make a name for himself like that... but then again, Earth had way too many diversified religions to gather all as his followers, and he did not even particularly like humans all that much, only those who were... innocent, so he could let them live, and entertain himself when nothing else is on television. He wanted to do something, but to do so would interrupt this delicate discussion these two male humans and this Agrona girl were up to. He noticed this Black... lion fellow, rather brute and overconfident. Ratman, or Ratsheep on the other hand? His words seemed to lack the finesse his movement had, at least to R'avin, and his liking for this building intrigued the alien. Was there a backstory to this? Only time would tell. However, he did feel some sort of remorse to this female who was still held by this so called god, which the thought of even considering this artifact one placed a smile upon R'avin's invisible face. Should he help her, or watch things continue on, the White Martian was unsure still, but could sense if they both came to her apparently, there was some point of importance. Perhaps she would be able to free herself. R'avin watched intently, waiting almost impatiently for the next move, studying these beings' interactions further with one another. He in particular wanted to see real action occur, since those who had the pleasure of being put down by him were simple mortals, with the eyes of his invisible face gleaming completely unseen, still cocealed within the building.

ᴏᴏᴄ: Anthony rolled his eyes under his mask. Did every villain have to come with a superiority complex? "I came here to keep you from killing anyone Black Adam." He hadn't recognized him when he saw him on the camera, but now that he had a good view, there was no doubt in his mind. He had done extensive research into all the villains profiles in the Batcomputer's database. Whenever Black Adam showed up, Shazam was usually close behind. But Shazam wasn't here anymore, and Black Adam still was. Even though he knew his batarangs wouldn't do much against him, he had to do something.

Teth glared at the Batman, he knew this wasn't the one he had met in his prior life, but he was bound to be just as dangerous. Black Adam with speed almost comparable to a Flash's mid speed flew up to a helicopter and placed Agrona down inside of it. "You pilot! You move from this spot, and I'll find you, and your family, and have you eat their organs while you find your way back to civilization from the middle of the deserts in Africa and when you finally do I'll kill you as a cruel joke." Teth said sternly to the helicopter pilot. The scared pilot merely shook his head and stood still. Teth flew back down to Batman. He stood and watched for a moment, analyzing the situation, his clairvoyance giving him clear options of what he could do and how each one would end, off of tactics used by the old Batman. He decided his first option was the best as his hands moved at insane speeds to clap and send off a sound and pressure wave to knock this batman away, if hit it would feel like a punch from an above average strength man. "Let's see how far the bat can fly." Teth said with a smirk.

 Space had been calming, after watching a Green Lantern almost kill an enemy that is. Kotand'r still couldn't believe it that green lantern looked as if he wanted to kill him, but thankfully he'd stopped just before death. It'd been that incident that caused the Tamaranean to come here to Gotham City rather than return to Metropolis. Perhaps the one known as Batman held the answers to what happened to her predecessor. No sooner had Starfire arrived in the skies above Gotham then she saw a small gathering of helicopters. One of the many things the young alien had learned since coming to earth was helicopters in groups meant trouble. Shooting towards the scene the Tamaranean girl would charge her solar braces in preparation to fire starbolts. However as she closed in a powerful blast of wind hit her face as if it'd been pushed out of the way for some attack. This caused Kotand'r to stop to see what happened.

ᴏᴏᴄ: Anthony watched as Black Adam carried the girl up to one of the helicopters. He returned the batarangs to his belt and pressed the button to call his own copter closer. When Teth returned, Anthony was already on the move. He felt the shockwave, but since he was already moving, it wasn't full force. He rolled forward to keep from losing his balance. "Gonna have to try harder than that," he said. He noticed then that they were no longer alone. Another hero had joined them. Starfire, she went by. She could help him against Black Adam. She had powers he didn't, and even if it wasn't enough to take him down, they could at least chase him off together.
