The group of them went from the spot where where he'd first come across Gellion, and fought the birds with them, to the cave that he'd spoken of. It would be their temporary 'home away from home' tonight which was something that had him grumbling just a little as he got a look inside. This was far from the comforts that he was used to but given that he had been traveling the around the sands of Eowyn for a while he supposed he should be used to such things by now, huh? This would work, it would protect them from the sand storm when it came by, and it would allow them a place out of the sun. He wasn't a huge fan of the bright sun, finding that it was far too close to the magic of the Aeduan that he was told to avoid since he was just a little bitty child. Ducking down into the cave, and being allowed to shrug out of his pack, was actually rather nice.
He settled down and Yolana moved to sit across from him, her back against the wall of the small cave, watching Gellion closely. It was obvious that she was keeping an eye on him 'just in case' but given that he was an Oblvionite like they were she didn't really seem to fear him. Were he of any other race she wouldn't be as friendly... but then again if Gellion were any other race they wouldn't have bothered to stop to help him. Merikh supposed that it was a fortuitous meeting, one he would take advantage of.
Digging around in his pack, something that caused the various orbs within it to rattle around, he dug out a water skin, taking a sip from it. After he quenched his thirst he tossed it to Yolana, "Drink up, Yoyo. Then see if Gelli over there wants some."
His bodyguard nodded, taking a sip of the water before holding out to the youngest amongst them. She said nothing, merely waited for him to take what was being offered to him. Might as well share it would seem since it seemed that Merikh wanted to play nice with this young Oblivionite. Were Gellion to pull anything she wouldn't hesitate to put him in his place but for the moment everything seemed to be laid back and relaxed even with the weather that was likely to get worse if the sandstorm reached the area they were camping in. The boy had said that the storm would travel between where they were and town, but he hadn't mentioned if it would hit this area.
