Okay this is a first, my own rp okay here goes

time is set in a modern world but with advance technology and magic

for the longest time the earth defenders and the ARC have been fighting for control of the earth, only till resently have they decided to work together but now a new unknown threat is arising and it might take the power of both teams to eliminate it

there are 3 teams to join

the earth defenders- their base is located on earth it's a tall tower known as the Look Out there team leader is Jon, the defenders basically defend the earth when needed

The Arc- their base is located in outer space on a space colony called the arc (arc stands for advanced research center) there goal was to bring the world under one ruler, there team leader is Dev

the darkness- this group was the greatest threat to the world and took the combined effort of the ARC and Earth Defenders to take the group out. (not a join able group for character creation)

The Empire - Lead by Emperor Diomed this small country started up shortly after the Darkness was eliminated, many rumors about the country have spread but currently the country has not done anything to indicate being a threat and it's citizens are completely happy with it's current ruler.


your characters main goal is whatever you can either help your team or work for your own purposes by manipulating the teams

there are 2 sets of gems each team ( arc and defenders) have the defenders have the chaos emeralds ( if you ever played a sonic game you know what these are)
and the arc has the elemental crystals ( there are 7 of these each has there own element which allows it's owner to control that element when all 7 are collected you can power up like the chaos emeralds)
Also if you hold a single Elemental Crystal you have complete manipulation over that element. If you have the chaos emerald of an element you nullify that element. Example if you have the fire crystal you can take control of fire attacks and increase their power. If you have the fire emerald though any fire attacks can not be used.
A chaos emerald over rides an elemental crystal. So if you have the fire crystal and you opponent has the fire emerald the person with the fire crystal can't use fire attacks still.
Also the Gems are indestructible you can not destroy them or you will upset the balance of the world.

(rules and agreements)

This section is any rp rules, the rp is pretty free ranged but there are a few rules to follow.

1. Follow the guild main house rules, as I am not a moderator and do not wish to have the rp taken down.

2. Romance and relationships are encouraged but anything private needs to go to pm or time skipped

3. No god modding - This is a hard rule to follow for this rp as things get over powered quickly, my general is you can block or dodge any attack thrown at you but you have to make a convincing argument, saying "well it doesn't hit because I say so" won't work. Here battles are like a game of chess you have to out wit your opponent and being entertaining at the same time.
(Also a lot of battles are plot related I'll try an indicate these by saying *plot* in the post.

4. Try to follow along with what is going on with your character. This is a big rp and things may get crazy. but from your character's point of view you should only know what is going on with the world around them. Also if you a rping with some one and they have gone for a few days then please be patient and wait or pm them letting them know you left there character and continued on your own. I will do what I can with any major plot updates and things people should be aware of but I can't help tell you what your character was doing.

5. The lame have fun rule but seriously while the battles and story can get intense there is a bit of light heartedness to the rp and I hope will enjoy it.

Bio: Dev was created to be a personal body guard to Freysia, when the ARC was attack by a military group and most members where thought to be killed including Freysia. Dev decided to rage war on the humans who had taken her away from him.

Freysia is very kind and tries to see the good in people but is capable of understanding not everyone is good.

Bio: Yari and Kari are twins the only diffence is that Kari has longer hair and kinder eyes than her brother Yari. Both we taken in by the ARC due to their special gift.

Bio: Once and Angel Selena craved more from life than to follow gods will, she now runs her own casino and works for the ARC, she could care little about others but can be persuaded to help if the price is right. She was a weakness for jewels.

Bio: Dante was gifted from the day as a child when he found a dying phoenix in the forest near his village, he cradled the bird as it gave it last breath and suddenly burst into fire and ashes in his hands, this cause the spirit of the phoenix to enter him giving him fire abilities and the ability to rise from his own ashes if he should die.
