I'm transgender. I've only told me mum and a few people this. The reason I am often not so open about this is because of a lot of the negative feedback I often see for people who state they are so, plus when I was younger, around the age of five, six or seven, and I started showing signs of being so, my stepfather beat me for it and I ended up walking around for about fifteen to twenty years of my life thinking I was some sort of freak.
I am asexual, which, for me, means that I have no sexual attraction to anything male or female. Again, I've only told a few people, mostly because I don't fully understand the full measure of this and am still trying to figure out all the various points of view and aspects of being so.
And, with a few exceptions, even though I really don't do any about my transgenderism, mostly because I don't agree with a lot of societal messages, I am happy. Not a freak, like I was taught.
