Hello. Before I get into the topic of my strange dreams I just wish to introduce myself. I'm new to this guild... And to be honest I didn't even know that Gaia had a guild for Christians. And I'm glad that I found this guild. Already I've learned so many things, but I have yet to learn more by reading the bible. Reading has never been my academic interest. I was never read to when I was little, considering that my grandma never read to me, even though my mother had asked her to read to me. It's why I have problems sticking to one story for a very long time. I have the bible app on my phone and I jumped from genesis to revelations. And I have yet to fully understand what the symbolism is in the book of revelations.
Anyways, on to my topic. Once in a while I have strange dreams. They just come out of nowhere. I recently had a dream where I died and I began to go up to heaven, but then something got in my way and began to laugh at me. The laugh was evil and maniacal. I do not know if it was a demon, or the devil. I woke up wondering what it could mean and I still question myself what it could mean.
Another strange dream is more personal. It shows that it was more about my own life. Back then they used to do an egg trick where it would tell you something about your life. My mom told me that a woman had done it to her and that she had gotten a church. That same night I had a dream about a woman doing the same thing to me. And what I got frightens me even until today. I had gotten a broken house. And inside the broken house there was this face, smiling, showing his sharp teeth. When I tell my dreams to people they say "that's creepy!" I even told a person my age about it and they said to stay away from witchcraft things... But that's the thing. I don't think the egg dream had anything to do with witchcraft. It was something more.
Share your thoughts about these dreams with me.

I am glad to hear from you that you do believe in God and that He is the Creator of all things great and small, wise and wonderful and that you have some what of a relationship with Him, and per what you have stated I trust that you also have been saved by and believe in Christ Jesus, our Redeemer, Master, Lord and Savior and that you also have a relationship and walk with Christ Jesus as your own personal Lord and Savior of your soul. We also have a sibling guild called the 'G.P.S. Guild {God's Plan of Salvation Christian Guild} that you may want to consider joining as well to fellowship with other like-hearted and equally yoked Christians. We really do not try to do any 'Dream Interpretations' here in this guild or in the other guild forementioned. Nor do we read cards of any kind or have you hold onto a egg all day and then crack it open to interpret it's contents or ask you to drink a cup of tea and then try to read the tea leaves on the bottom of the cup. That is not any form of actually Christianity, and is more of a pagen based practice of rituals and other types of religion that we just do not practice here. Not trying to offend you in any way Miss. We do believe that once actually saved, always saved by the blood of the Lamb of God, His only begotten Son Christ Jesus. As far as discussing your dreams maam. They sound as if they were generated by images from either video games, ghost stories, or scary movies, that crept into your subconscience while you were asleep. But that is just my opinion maam, and while I am no psych doctor or shrink to listen to your dreams and give you an anology of them. I am familar with the Word of God. A lot of people that I have meet in my life have said the same thing that they have read the Bible from cover to cover and thought that it was a good read and did not understand it's contents that well by just reading it from cover to cover. Again, I am not trying to anger you nor discourage you in any way form or fashion maam. It is just that the Holy Bible is a Book that in order to understand certain parts of scripture you may start out in say Matthew, then end up in 2 Timothy, and then into one of the Books of John and then into Revelation all in order to understand what God is trying to show you through the guidence and direction of the Holy Spirit. I know this because the Holy Spirit has lead me to write and then type up in this guild some mini-sermons on various topics from the Scripture of the Bible and based on current life circumstances. Trust me. I am not all that, nor am I trying to blow my own horn here but am actually giving all the credit to God for allowing me to be able to do so. But it is good that you are interested in learning more about the Bible and having a closer walk with the Lord and knowing that you are on what is called 'The milk of the Word.', and are looking for a better understanding of it, so that you can move onto to 'The meat of the Word.' and be able to better share the gospel of Christ Jesus with others, that says a great deal about you and your dedication to the Lord. Again, I'd like to welcome you to the guild, and as we always like to say around here 'if you have any questions about anything, please feel free to ask by comment or p.m. any of the staff of this guild, and if we can't get you the answer that you are looking for we will do our best to find it for you and with you.' To be totally honest with you, I am not perfect nor do I know it all either, and there are time when I have to ask for help to understand things in God's Word. And by the Grace of God, I can always ask of another Christian such as yourself for your opinion on the subject because you may know and understand it better. God works in mysterious ways doesn't He?!?! There are also others in this guild besides staff that will be more than helpful if asked by you. I pray that you do enjoy being here in 'The Well Guild', and if there is anything that I can be of assistance with, feel free to drop me a p/m maam. Your brother in the family of God, and in the Lord's army; Aaron -T.S.K.

How are you trying to instruct me in the right way? And, I believe I am a bit offended right now. It sounds to me like your saying dream interpretations are bad. How could they be bad if Joseph, a man who saved the people of Egypt by interpreting a dream, interpreted dreams? I believe GOD gives special gifts to people. And interpreting dreams was Joseph's gift. And no I do not go to psychics to have a reading done, and no do I hold an egg or whatever, or drink tea to see what the grain leaves say to me. Don't get me wrong I am thankful you responded to this. And maybe I am offended because it wasn't the exact answer I was looking for, but I will ask again, how are you trying to instruct me in the right way? P.s. I appreciate you calling me ma'am, but I prefer to be called Rachel, which is my real name.

Lorena Beaumonte Hello. Shalom, Rachel. Please do not be put off by the responses. I'm sure you should have expected such, if you've been having these dreams for a while. lol But, I'm afraid brother TSK is right - these guilds are ill equipped to handle that of dream interpretation. First off, there would have to be more of us that have that much access to the Ruach /Holy Spirit. Second, it would have to be enough to give a proper witness to such a thing. Third, and more importantly, a scriptural 'reading' will not be the same as anything that you find in current day mainstream interpretations. Because of this, I can only say (from experience) that those of us that do encounter YHVH's (God's) touch should immerse ourselves in His Word WITH his guidance. This will help sort out the symbolism before interpretation. And it's source. Direction will not often come from many of our brethren until we're all in His echad/unity. That's not me talkin', it's in the scripture (try the OT). This will happen more often, and there has to be some of us to help those along that are new to this, after all. smile I second the invite to the G.P.S., as there are more of us that you can talk to there that have had these dreams and visions. Otherwise, PMs are (yes) acceptable, and more contact information is available for some of us for further study. Thank you for your post, and welcome to the guild. Yah bless, ~MW

"God gives each of us the same measure of faith." But faith is like a muscle in your body. If you do not exercise that muscle it will not grow. The same goes for our faith in our LORD God. If we do not exercise our faith, it will not grow. The Holy Spirit is the one that will give us gifts by God's direction or approval to do so. Gifts of tongue, gifts of interpretations of tongue, gifts of sights or 'visions', as well as gifts to those who will interpret those visions, as well as the gift of healing and other gifts that are mentioned in the New Testiment by both Peter and Paul.
To come to my brother's aid here, and to possibly add some tack to his post; He was simply letting you know that for every gift of the Holy Spirit gives to one person, the Holy Spirit will also give the gift of interpretation to another in the assembly or family of God. Hence the reason as to why both sister Metal Wallflower, and brother Knight had stated that a possible deeper discussion of said topic could be better handled through p.m.'s, as well as any other forms or types of questions concerning the Word of God, I do not believe for one minute that the Knight was trying to offend you in any form or manner. That is so unlike him to do to anyone.
Both were trying to be direct, but with grace. We are all trying in this guild to be as helpful and as Biblically and Scripturally correct with you and each other and others in this guild as well as the G.P.S. Guild, and to demonstrate God's love and grace in doing so, and also to try to instruct or exercise our faith in the Lord with each other in discussions such as this and other ways of good encouragement.
And my friends Ms. Rachel, call me Dannie for short. Welcome to 'The Well.'

-Celtic Mother Goose- "God gives each of us the same measure of faith." But faith is like a muscle in your body. Welcome to 'The Well.' Your sister in the faith, Ms. Dannielle A. Fitzbaugh -c.m.g.- After a while of thinking I may have come out a bit rude to him. And so I apologize for that. I thank everyone of you who has come to post in here. What may have set me off is the way he had written his response. I can be a bit sensitive to the way some things are said. I understand that some dreams are just from the mind and may not mean something more, and I understand that the dream with the egg involved a practice that Christians do not believe in and I do not believe in it myself. And I did say to share thoughts and that is what he did, and that is what all of you are doing. So again I apologize for my rudeness.
