Love the books. I've been reading and re-reading them since the fourth grade. I'm a senior now, lol. The movies were good too. Aragorn pwns.

.I had a plan to read the books before I saw the movies, but that crashed. I read most of The Hobbit, I tried, I really did, but I couldn't finish it. I got bored as hell at about... He was in the dragon's lair, had escaped after a confernce with the dragon, and was planning to go back down again for whatever reason.
I should start on the rest of the serise....

They're some of my favorite movies. I liked the books, but they got confusing at times. The movie really brought the books to life. They followed the books, too. My favorite character in the books and movies is Aragorn.

i read 1, 2, and half of 3.....got bored with sam and frodo just walking...and walking...and walking.....And i ruened it by seeing the movie first...so yea...
favorite charer would be aowyn, gladriel, or arwyn (sorry for the spelling)
