Personalities:

HARVARD: No, Harvard did not go to Harvard. But he does have a doctorate. And speaks approximately 15 languages at varying levels of fluency. So yeah, maybe he thinks he's a made of a slightly higher caliber than other people. It likely doesn't help that Harvard is certainly a glass half-empty kind of guy. If it's awful, if it can be awful, Harvard is there and muttering under his breath about it. That being said, he's not a crotchety professor all of the time or even most of the time. Under pressure, he keeps his head and finds it easy to quickly assess his choices and think logically. All those years upon years of college managed to beat a love of logic and quick assessment into his head and he puts it to good use.

There are things in life even this pessimistic man likes, of course. He finds himself irritatingly protective of his students, while simultaneously intent on pushing them out of their comfort zone. While they were in his class, they might be little s**t shits, but they were his little shits. Harvard also appreciates books, and the smell of a freshly printed newspaper. And his cat, Sapir (named after Edward Sapir, of course).

The time spent in close company of some forty-odd student only heightened (unfortunately for the students) Harvard's love for games. Reactions. He enjoys pushing others, testing boundaries, seducing them (though not necessarily following through). Since classes stopped happening, a men has to find something to do in his free time.

MISERERE: Miserere finds themselves fascinated by the things they consider beautiful - like religious concepts and abstract poetry or an interesting ideology. Often, they prefer to communicate solely via lines of poetry, which can be frustrating for any hunter.

Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter?
There was a choice? Maybe, inside Creation there had been a choice, but it was one Harvard would never remember.
In his reality, Harvard joined because tenure didn't mean s**t when the college he worked at was in ruins.

Legit I was like
'How the ********' @ 15 languages then was told his a linguistics prof and its like
OH THANK GOD CONTEXT.

My only thoughts are you might have an easier time w/ doing a decay demon and that's a bit more malleable and magic inclined which would help fit with what the basis for species is! Monsters being more physical, demons magical and the orig species being magic magicy magics.
That, and b/c I had this actual prob w/ my own char, listing out each language the character knows based on fluency is A+ cuz
one) helps keep on hand what is what and two) players who know exactly which what and how fluent can be useful when doing reasons to meet and RP dev/tangents

Welcome to This is Halloween!

Congratulations! Your character has passed the enrollment process and you're cleared to begin playing. Essentially, this means you can get your art certed, make your character's journal, and most importantly start RPing. If you're a little lost then don't worry, this guide is here to point you in the right direction.

- Do you have your character's art? Great! Move onto the next crown.

- If you do NOT yet have your art, you may now contact your artist and let them know that they may now start on creating your character!
