So I really want to do an rp idea where in the future, time travel is achieved but is locked down. The most that is done is it is used to observe pockets of time that can't be configured (Basically, they are able to track windows, like catching episodes on tv, they can't pick what comes on). They can only do this because to try and force a watch, it could open a door which is dangerous on the time line. Their was also a police force that was created to make sure no criminals could corrupt the time line either. One criminal however escaped, a manic man bent on creating mass panic and wanting to gain control over the world. He stole a high grade military mech and took it through the time gate. My character is a time officer, sent back in his own mech to fight him in the year 2016, but has to do his best to keep the criminal from corrupting the time. The time line isn't broken by paradox's since the police force had found that the past would have this situation happen but it is said that the officer doesn't return from his mission but saves the past. By going into the past he fights the criminal but both mechs are damaged and the criminal escapes causing a stalemate but the officer ends up meeting a woman who helps give him shelter as he repairs his mech to find the criminal.
