While not a total waste of time; at least he'd found out what had happened to the missing pokemon; Draven regretted his decision to go. He hadn't really done anything useful. There'd been so many pokemon ready to help, he hadn't expected to be one of many. And he'd upset Briar. For nothing. He felt terrible. Briar was the most important thing in his life and for some reason he'd brushed her feelings aside.
"Briar?" he called as he entered the cabin. He saw his trainer look up from the book he was reading at the table, but thankfully Rhiyn said nothing. "Briar, I'm home. I'm sorry." What else could he say? He wanted to make this better. He hated the thought that she was mad at him. "I love you."
