History: Iris mother was from a small fox clan from Alaska she was murdered by hunters when Iris was just a year old. Iris father was part of a well known werewolf pack in Idaho, and is a distant relation to the Hales. He was chased from his clan when they found out he was in love with a werefox something not acceptable to their people.

Iris childhood was filled with continual moves due to those that wished to see her father dead whether it was former pack members or hunters. Most years she ended up in at least two maybe three different schools. Iris was trained from a young age about the dangers of her world. When Iris turned ten her father dropped her off with her mothers people so she could learn more about her fox size something he couldn't teach her. This ended up being the longest she had stayed in one place since her birth she was with them two years. She went to public school and that was where she mad friends with the wrong sort of kids, and getting arrested when they made her the escape goat after a home burglary went wrong. Her father was furious with her for drawing attention to herself and making herself known to the authorities. With the help of an attorney in her mothers clan she was able to avoid going into juvenile hall and was forced to do volunteer work that added up to a month. After she had done her time her father ripped her away from Alaska and moved her to Colorado where he had found a small pack that would welcome both of them. She found herself being home schooled by one of the other females of the pack. At fourteen her father and one of their pack members where killed by hunters. Iris was taken in by the alpha and his family and was moved out of Colorado and into Kentucky where she was placed into a public school with their son. The need for revenge ate at her and public school turned out to be the perfect training place for her she studied many forms of fighting and joined the wrestling team as well as the jujitsu club. After graduating high-school she ran away from her pack and their expectation that she mate with their alphas son. She had no destination in mind all her attempts at finding out the identity of her fathers murderer failed. She felt lost her first thought was to go back to Alaska to her mothers people but instead she found her self searching out what was left of her fathers family distant relations that lived in Beacon Hills.
