The event will be April 1st-3rd.

I've started putting the thread together. You can see it here (PLEASE DO NOT POST).

Feel free to suggest ideas or edits in this planning thread. I am very dyslexic, so typos are a definite hazard.

Things That we need...
We need volunteers to help run the flash space party!
Diedrich Art to help decorate the thread with. If you are artistically inclined, please halp.
Anyone want to help write anything to go in the introduction or the about Diedrich section? Let me know!

Update from the Gaia Staff
-We will have an April Fool's Day event forum
-We will get an item freebie!
-We will get our event promoted on Gaia's social media and an announcement
-We might see Diedrich posting at the event! (a first!)

Game Idea?
But since we can't pass to the left or right...that person just passes? So you get no prize. Eat your candy...you get no prize? And if you keep your candy then you get a prize? Basically RNG...but saying you are rolling for candy...aka Prizes? Did that make sense? Idk. xD. We could do 6 numbers or do something bigger?

Avatar Contest:

Dress your avi to be his gift? So turn your avi into what the gift would be...so if you got him a horse...your avi would look like a horse?

Writing:

Birthday Poem? I know we did Haiku's for something...so maybe not? What your birthday card would say? What your wish is for him?

Art:

I am not sold 100% on the cake design. I know we did Cup Cake not that long ago...but I feel like we just did cake for something....I mean it is an option. But let me see what random things I can toss out. Hm.

I think we did birthday card too? But I like the gift box idea <3

Design a Firework.
Design a Banner.
Design & Describe a Party Drink?
Design a Mask? Maybe his birthday this year is a masquerade?
Draw a Game? Tell us how you play, what it is about?

As for other things. We could open it up for freebie artists again? I know one year I did it...I might be able to this year. It would be like that last time where I have a template and just do quick pieces of art to anyone that I saw sticking around or liked their avi's. But others might be wanting to do it too? Just saying.

Ummmmmm. Let me see what else I can think of randomly. xD

Or maybe if you donated money to a charity on his behalf..what charity would it be, why, and how much did you donate? Like...not really donating to a real one. It would be all made up...or you can reference a real charity?

I like the Birthday Poem/Card idea, and I would probably enter if we did this -- the funnier the better. (I'm not too sure about the charity idea, unless it was all dressed up as an elaborate spoof.) Just sticking to writing a funny poem sounds simpler and more to the point.❤
