• Personality: Akira is a flamboyant guy whose motivation in life is using his guts, or the sixth sense supposedly in his stomach. He believes it is the manlier way of accomplishing things because in his words, this method has never failed him. This wacky philosophy causes him to be unpredictable and reckless sometimes. Though, it also positively contributes to his diligent, hardworking dedication for things. The word itself is even a part of his vocabulary since he yells it out loud when absolutely excited. Aside from his obsession with guts, Akira is actually decent in socializing with other people. He treats people with equal kindness and tries to cheer them up whenever they are depressed. It is rare that he ever holds a grudge against his enemies or rivals. His outgoing attitude makes him pretty much the life of the party. He always focuses on things with pure enthusiasm, never wasting what they could potentially accomplish. So, he tries his hardest to be open-minded and accepting of things outside his comfort zone. An interesting thing about Akira is that he cares little about society's blunt concept of good and evil. He simply does what he thinks is the right thing to do in a particular situation. Also, he knows when to give up. He recognizes that he will not overcome every obstacle with willpower or even the emotional power from his comrades. However, it is doubtful that he would submit very easily. He determines himself to find any possible chance at victory but in an honorable manner. Akira has an urge to protect people that are important to him, even ones that he barely recognizes. He can never stand on the sidelines and watch a person suffer or be threatened.
• Backstory: Akira was born and raised in Shibuya, Tokyo. As a commoner, he went to regular school there and often participated in the activities such as pep rallies, sports, and fundraisers. Among his peers, he was a class representative. Sometimes he even posed as the mascot. He always had a firm belief that anything can be overcome by being persistent and never giving up. This executed wonderfully in his grades, making him a role-model figure for low achieving students.
While he may seem like a perfect person, he really isn't. He has a rough time at home because of his wealthy parents pushing him to study hard beyond his limits. This pressure created quite a lot of stress for the boy, but he masked it with a fake positive attitude to not let others make pity on him. Although his teachers were impressed by his work ethic, they often gave him advice of taking breaks. Akira would take it easy for awhile and chill since everyone needed some solace. But immediately afterward, he gets straight into those books again.
One day, he slowly became bored. His parents were an utter chore in wanting him to become a scholar. That was the reason they manipulated him in his schoolwork. Akira just wanted to escape from it all and wander outside the boundaries of Tokyo on his own. He soon did when a Keyblade came into his life to change it drastically. The weapon was crafted out of his strong desires to explore and hefty amount of willpower. With it by his side eternally, he became a heroic drifter across multiple worlds that often helped out the people living there.

• Weapon: Akira wields a Keyblade called Rising Sun in battle. As a whole, it is a white skeleton key that has a purple-gold handle, the letters GUTS across its hilt, and Japanese red sun rays protruding in all directions at the front end of the blade. Its key-chain is a swastika sign that also shares the red color.
• Fighting Style: Akira has an aggressive, yet graceful approach to combat. He pummels his enemies with swift strikes of his Keyblade and often reverses their attacks against them using clever maneuvers.
• Abilities: Akira as a Keyblade Wielder respectively has a body at its highest condition. He can endure long plummets and juggle normally heavy objects like their toys. His speed is even enhanced, not to mention his reflexes since they go hand-in-hand. He can also slice apart buildings in perfect twos with singular strikes, making the feat look easy. Akira knows a wide variety of magic spells, especially the fire element. He mixes them in conjunction with his physical attacks to spark creative combos that could overwhelm a foe. He is also knowledgeable of item synthesis since he stumbled upon many ingredients along his journey.
