Physical Description:
Triton is tall and rather lanky, with long limbs that just make him seem taller. He has warm reddish brown skin with copper undertones, as well as a skin disorder called vitiliago that creates pigment-less white patches of skin all over his body. The most prominent is across his eyes and down his chest and side, with a few patches on his arms as well. His eyes are a dark amber color, and he wears his deep brown hair in tidy locs that he usually ties back out of the way. His muscles are lean, but he's stronger than he looks.
Personality:
Easy to laugh and quick to make a joke, Triton could easily be called a slacker or daydreamer. He loves to draw and play or listen to music, and often finds ways to get around his chores in order to enjoy leisure time. He is fascinated by dragons and has written poetry about them, and hopes to one day be a rider himself.
Many mistake his laziness for, well, just that. But often times it comes to the fact that Triton just doesn't see the point in doing a lot of things that are asked of him, or becomes extremely bored with repetition. He likes excitement and new things, and loves to learn. He's exceedingly smart, but misapplies his intellect a lot of the time. He just needs direction.

History:
Being one of seven children for a harper, Triton was often overlooked as one of the younger middle children. There just wasn't time enough or resources enough to really pay him much mind. That was until the day the dragon rider came and chose him to come back to the Weyr as a candidate, seeing something in him that his father couldn't see or believe existed. All his family saw was someone who couldn't focus and was lazy. Maybe, in time, Triton can prove them wrong?

I am going to approve him because the Hatching is starting in just a few days, but if you wanted to flesh out his personality a little more - especially when it comes to his negative traits - it would help us to match him to a dragonet.

I am going to approve him because the Hatching is starting in just a few days, but if you wanted to flesh out his personality a little more - especially when it comes to his negative traits - it would help us to match him to a dragonet.
I added a bit more to hopefully make it more clear that he's just a misguided teenager right now. I left room for development
