Bio:Heres the thing, I can be a reel jackass in threads if I strongly disagree with something, I tend to only interfeer with a thread if, well I am really against it, or a flame war begins. Other than that I try to stay out of things. (oh, and my grammer is horrible)
Why I joined:Because, I hate the n00bs ((not newbs)) of the ED, they tainted a perfectly good forum. Plus, not as many people in the ED give reason and/ or research to back up their arguments.

Bio: I sometimes, well frequently use "..." at the end of a sentance even though my thought or statement is complete. I live in N.S., Canada and am not of voting age yet. I like politics, but hate politicians(sp?).
Why you joined: Because I got an invite from Drewser and thought "Why the hell not?"

Why I joined:It looks interesting.. and when politcal issues pop up in ED, you don't get a chance to complete a debate or a discussion, here are too many people responding with radical and unconclusive idea's.

Age: 20, 21 in a few days. Surprisingly not excited.
Political party: Independent. I think the Democrats share more of my ideals, but they are horribly disorganized and wholly inneffective.
Subject most concerned about: Image. Everything in politics boils down to this one word. Image. So, essentially, my interest is in politics as a whole but in a stripped down manner. Most specifically it is our international standing, that produced by our image, that most concerns, or disturbs, me.
Bio: An Italian misplaced in America only to find that New York is a wonderful city. A lover of international music and the blues, egalatarian when considering humans, elitist when considering the relations of Italians to humans (hey, I can pretend can't I?), master chef, dabbler with the art of satire, local political commentator, and all my actions are only for good or for awesome.
Why you joined: Well, I may very well be the guildiest person around. In the past this has been a way to herd my flock and guide them to the light. But more recently it has been a way for me to engage in meaningful discussion, since the ED only allows chatter.

Political Party: Independent. I really let myself mix values from all of the parties, so why not just choose one that's out of the way?
Subject most concerned about: America's slow digression into a theocracy. Discrimination in any form, due to religion, race, sexual preference, is horrible. Trying to shift into a theocracy ousts the other religions.
Bio: I'm a 16 year old Junior in a boarding highschool for the intelligent youth of my state, Alabama. Needless to say, our school is small.
Why you joined: While at my school, I noticed much discrimination, whether it was blatant or not. Such as Seniors shying away from underclassmen, returnings shying away from incomings, and the African Americans sitting away from the caucasians. I got into as many groups as possible to find out why. Soon, the country started showing signs of discrimination towards homosexuals. On Gaia, that discrimination was also prevalent. It angered me. Since then, I have been wanting a nice cool debate about the subject. The current ED has degraded into mindless arguing. I'll still fight in ED, but I think a good debate would be nice. (That and I got sent an invite, so hey! Why not? xp )

Why you joined: I joined to be able to discuss things that matter to me, but now I'm here I think I should leave. Most of the things that will be spoken about here don't really concern me, they are mainly American topics and even the ones I do have an opinion on would be from an Australian view point and therefor may not make as much sense to some. sweatdrop

Bio: I am a freshman at Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh majoring in English and Business. I have an unnatural fondness for marshmallows, am fairly addicted to a variety of bands (Iron Maiden, AFI, Yellowcard, Flogging Molly) and I very much like talking about myself. I'm also an avid reader. When I'm not spending time with my g/f or marshmallows, I can usually be found near shiny or sharp and dangerous objects.

Bio: I am a screenwriter who wants to learn all about Anime and I was looking for a site that had members worldwide. I want to find out what people all over the world think and talk about. I speak Spanish and can understand most European languages, especially French, Italian, and Swedish.
I graduated from UCLA with a BS in Sociology and Psychology. I also have a BS in Genetics and Cell Biology, from the university of Minnesota. I studied one year on Architecture in California (before I went to UCLA). So if anyone has any questions about college, I am your girl.
I am also an artist. Mostly I make jewelry.
I live in Minnesota, but boy would I like to go back to UCLA (they have a new AstroBiology program). I highly recommend UCLA!
