We want to get to know you all better, especially how you would like to be referred to throughout the competition. So, this thread is a place to introduce yourselves to us and any lurkers watching this cycle. Think of your favorite competition show and the little interviews they do to introduce themselves— that’s the vibe we’re going for here! You can elaborate as much as you want, and post in any format, but below are the details you must include.
Name:Your name/what you want us to call you. Also tell us your preferred pronouns and if there is a nickname/shortening of your username that you do not want us to use!
Age:How old are you? You can be vague if you want and say, for example, that you’re an elder Millennial or baby Gen Z. Give us a vibe.
Location:Where are you from? If you don't want to be too specific, just sharing your time zone is helpful!
Favorite Design Styles:What do you like to create? Have any favorite color schemes? General vibes? The people want to know!

✿✿✿✿✿✿✿ Hello all! It's awesome to join in this cycle! It's my first time, and I've just recently joined, so I can't wait for all the fun to start!
My name is mayuralover, and you can call me May, Mayu, or Mayura. Or even the full mayuralover 3nodding I'm actually turning 31 on March 28! What a birthday present! And I'm on the West Coast.
My favorite styles on Gaia.. definitely elegant and feminine. I also dress in a lot of Asian-style items. And sparkles! The more, the better! I've got so many color schemes I love, but my favorites are Lotus and Oasis. But really, anything with coral and teal.

I don’t have a specific aesthetic; I just love putting looks together that feel genuine and true to me. This is my first time participating in a competition like this, which is exciting but also a bit different for me. I’ve got thick skin, so I’m open to feedback and learning as I go. Honestly, I’m just here to enjoy the experience, grow, and have a good time.

I suppose they're mostly feminine, mature, uncluttered, and can get quite sparkly at times, haha. I avoid backgrounds like the plague and am intimidated to be wandering so far out of my comfort zone, but I look forward to pushing myself and doing the catwalk for my very first time with all of you and Aoide~ c: I am truly grateful for the opportunity, and good luck to us all! <3

My name's CottonCandy Girl, though my friends call me Gel (she/her)! I'm a 29 year old from Florida (EST).
My personal style often blends the feminine with the inhuman. From fantastical, to cartoonish, to straight up monstrous, I love creating all kinds of creepy-cute "creatures" with elements of both high femme and horror.
For this contest, I'm eager to challenge myself, to step out of my comfort zone and explore more grounded, realistic styles.

I’m currently living in Massachusetts (it’s v cold), but my husband and I are planning to move back to California in the fall (it’s v hot). We’ve been on the East Coast for a little over a year now, but honestly, I still haven’t gotten used to it. Especially when it comes to my sleep schedule sweatdrop
As for my avatar style, I tend to lean toward dark fantasy with a touch of realism. Being a Virgo, I like to take my time and really focus on the small details to bring everything together. My biggest inspirations are Lord of the Rings, Tinkerbell, Japan, and Lady Gaga!

I love telling a story in my designs, and my comfort zone is fantasy. I’d love to grow in casual and clutter aesthetics. Right now they both baffle me.

I've been drawing since the day I could hold a crayon, and I'm very into character design - so I'm naturally drawn to entering the Runway.
I love making very cute or funky designs, and I often use pastels, pink, or vivid colours. Some of my favourite colour schemes from Gaia are: Bubblegum, CMYK, Pixie Stick, Candy Fresh, Plastic Beach, Crabby, Demon Candy, Delusional, and Holographic!
This is my first time on the Catwalk, and I will be designing for Eevi!

Even if I started dipping my toes in Gaia with cosplay around 2008 and only came back a couple years ago, I have been enjoying taking part in runway contests and doing puzzles as of late. My favorite color schemes as of right now are Alice and Catharsis, and my fave gaia-color is Dandelion, but I have been trying to slowly steer away from schemes too much...

I tend to do a lot of those triangle avatars LOL big dress-up gowns often fantasy. Somewhat unique to me is that I love to build non-human creatures. Also, mask builds with horns and bone or snake bodies etc. The invention of invisibility really saved my building style c: I admire builders like ohmygooood, rama tama, zelzah, wilts, clarion, human clad monster, and glucose. And a ton more~
I hope I can impress everyone with Brigid's looks!!
On Gaia I go by Kr-E(Kree), Siren on my socials, and my friends know me as Mercy!~ Any pronouns are fine; I typically use she/they.

Also, Texans are weird about being touchy-feely for some reason. Whether it be hugging friends or simply experiencing their emotions in a healthy way. SAVE THEM!
I lean into a lot of fantasy and storytelling vibes. Much like the art I create, I want there to be feeling, possible emotion, or just vibes to my avatars. My favorite schemes would have to be Magma, Envious, Viper, Shoal, Goblin, Arizona(GOD IT NEEDS WAAAAAY MORE), Gossamar, Shinigami, Daybreak, Parched, Boned, and Sootberry.
