Baz had been excited for Rosa's visit to his house since the two teens had agreed on it over text the previous week. He hadn't gotten many opportunities to see her since she was still dodging her family knowing she had a boyfriend and her clandestine visits to him at the record shop didn't offer many opportunities for real relationship time. So this visit would be a great opportunity for them to have some real time together. They could chill and play video games or watch a movie, then kip out to somewhere for a meal. Baz knew this really great wizard friendly bakery in Liverpool they could floo to for a treat. Either way, he was excited for her visit. Aveline had teased him a bit about having his girlfriend visiting, but he ignored the pretty princess' attempts to rile him up. Nothing was going to dampen his mood today. After she'd gotten bored with teasing him, Aveline had returned to her very pink room and was listening to girly pop music very loudly. Thankfully his parents were both at their respective jobs, his father working at the Ministry and his mum working with his grandma in the greenhouse. Poppop was sitting in the den reading while Minnie played in her pen. Everything would be perfect.

Baz had gotten dressed in a vintage band tee shirt, his favorite pair of pants, and his combat boots, slipped a guitar pick necklace on, and was ready for Rosa's visit. Of course he wanted to bring out his guitar right away, but he'd ease her into that. First she should at least get a tour of the manor. And she had to meet Morpheus to let the dog get her scent down. Morph was their guard dog, yet he was a huge sweetheart. He looked a lot scarier than he really was. Sitting in the great room, Baz glanced over at the fireplace, then down at his mobile phone. If she was as punctual as she was beautiful, Rosa ought to be arriving any moment. Baz grinned, tucked his phone into his pocket, then stood up from the couch to await his girlfriend's arrival.

Just as he was getting ready to check his mobile for the time again, the fireplace lit up green and a moment later, Rosa emerged from the flames. Immediately Baz noticed her outfit and a grin crossed his lips. It seemed that she'd had the same idea as him with the band shirts. She seemed to bee line across the room over to him and wrap him in a hug, so he returned the gesture, then kissed back when she kissed him. She said she'd had a scare but that she was happy to be here. Of course, from their many conversations, he figured it was a family thing, but he might just question her about that later. "Yeah, I'm glad you're here too. I missed the hell out of you." There was that doofy grin again, crossing his lips at the thought of spending time with her. When Rosa took his hand and asked what was first, Baz was about to answer her when there came the sound of rapidly approaching footsteps. Aveline came sprinting into the room, pink frilly princess dress bouncing as she ran, then launched herself onto the couch. "Hey Balty, is this your girlfriend?" the preteen asked, extending the word girlfriend in a teasing manner.

Baz rolled his eyes and huffed a sigh at the girl. "Ugh, Ave, I told you to stop calling me Balty. Baz. Baaaaazzzzz." Glancing at Rosa, he did a mock eyeroll, then said, "Rosa, this is my sister, Princess Aveline. Ave, this is my girlfriend Rosa." Aveline scooted off the couch and extended a hand out to Rosa. "Princess Aveline Morgana Briarwood, at your service," she said, offering a little curtesy in between giggles. Baz rolled his eyes again, but he had a little grin on his face. "I suppose I ought to introduce you to my other sister at some point, though thankfully she'll embarrass me a lot less than certain other sisters." Aveline curtsied again, then scampered off to her room once introductions were complete. "I was gonna give you a tour of the house before we were interrupted, but that's just how my sister is," Baz said with a chuckle. "If Aveline wasn't being extra, she wouldn't be herself." Baz held his hand out for Rosa's again so that he could start the tour.

Another chuckle escaped Baz when Rosa suggested that it wasn't likely that his youngest sister wouldn't embarrass him. "We're all age gap kids, my youngest sister is only two. Though she also calls me Balty but that's just because she can't use my full name. Or say 'z's very well." With a shrug and a grin, Baz gestured around them at the great room. It was adorned with several couches arrayed in a rectangle around the fire place, above which sat a very old portrait of Valerian Briarwood, who established the Briarwood manor house. He smiled down at them and gave a little wave. Baz explained who the portrait was before they progressed out of the great room. "Yeah, the house is pretty big, but not as big as the old castle was. Most of the original house Grandad Val built was destroyed during the Blitz and rebuilt in the late 1940's." He took her around, showing off the kitchen and living room with their large telly. As they got to the library, Baz poked his head inside. "Oi, Poppop, you're supposed to be watching Minnie." Baz rolled his eyes again, but smirked at Rosa. "This is my Poppop, Rasmodian. And my baby sister Minerva." He picked his little sister up from the floor and sat the two year old on his hip.

"Balty!" the little one exclaimed, then she noticed Rosa and hid her face in his shoulder, peeking her eyes out to look at the new person. Baz chuckled a little and pat her back. "It's okay Minnie, Rosa's a friend. You can say hi, right?" Minerva shook her head and hid her face in his shoulder again. Rasmodian returned to snoozing in the background, a book on arithmancy splayed across his chest. Baz huffed, then said, "C'mon Rosa, I'll put her down for her nap, then we can finish the tour." Holding Minnie on his hip with one hand, he took Rosa's hand in his other again, then led the way back to the bedrooms. They passed Aveline's room, which was aggressively pink and had loud girly pop music emanating from it. He stopped at Minerva's room, which was soft lavender and had a starry night motif. After putting her down for a nap, he led the way to his room, stopping outside since there was a large dog sitting in front of his door. "Oh, and this is Morpheus, one of our two dogs. Carter's probably out in the yard with the horses, but Morph usually stays inside." He squatted down to pet the dog, as Morph extended his head to sniff at Rosa.
