I don't know if this should be here...but after seeing V for Vendetta, I was thinking, everybody has their pink flowery aprons, but does anybody know how to make eggs in a basket?
If so, could you maybe post a recipe or maybe a link? Cuz I really, really want to make 'em one day! 3nodding

uhh my friend knows how to make them. but he has not taught me yet. once he does teach me I will let ya know ok ^_^

I cannot believe you have never had eggs in a basket. it's so NOT hard to make. If you've ever been to england they have fried toast instead of ...toasted toast for breakfast.
so eggs in a basket is toast with a cut-out for an egg in it, just like it looks in the movie.
Let me tell you if V served it to me i would most likely throw it at him, becuase it gross. the egg is ALWAYS slimey in the middle and i like my food cooked thank you.
(i bet most of you have never had spam either)..........

Ha, I learned how to make those when I was 6. I was the only one at school who knew about them XP. I started hoping around in my seat in the theatre thinking "OMG!!! My eggs!!!"

Hm, never had eggs in a basket, but I don't like eggs that much anyway. Nor toast. They're okay, and I eat them when they're served and enjoy them well enough, but sometimes they make me feel kind of sick. I like Spam though, it's weird but it's good.

I've never actually liked eggs cooked anyway other than scrambled, but my sister made some eggs in a basket after we saw the movie and they were pretty good. Although I do have to agree with muninn a little bit... They were rather slimey, and afterwards I felt a little sick. But I would totally eat them again.
And... you're right. sweatdrop I've never eaten spam.

Hmm...there seems to be a mixed oppinion on whether eggs in a basket taste good or not. Well, my stomach can take gross, slimy things, so now I'll have to go and try to make 'em! pirate I've never had spam either, ninja so we're in the same boat, Swift.

i love eggs in a basket i have that for dinner somtimes!
when i saw V for vendetta i saw him make eggs in a basket and i was like omg!!! i know how to make that! and everyone looked at me.. lol redface

Hehe. My mom used to make me eggs in a basket alot. whee My favorite part was eating the circle you cut out of the middle of the bread. When I saw V making eggs in a basket in the movie I spilled my popcorn all over my friend be accident. rofl
