Who else was annoyed by how this was written? I couldn't get into it because it kept changing point of view and it was so repetitive. And the third book was just too easy. They solved everything immediatly. And they didn't even really need to be there. I was really trying to like the series, but with every book I end up disliking it even more.

I've only read the first and second books so far. I find it annoying with how the perspective changes constantly, yes. I can't say that it's my favorite Eddings' series, but I do like some of the characters in it and I always enjoy his humor.

I've only read the first book of the dreamers and while it's not the usual Eddings style some of the characters are enjoyable and the humor is still there! Will have to see how the others are.

Yeah, I do like the characters, which is why I'm still reading it. Longbow's my favorite, even though he reminds me so much of Hettar.

I have read exacltly one half of the first book. It's the hard back book. I was so excited, and was going to get them all in hard back. But I just can't bring myself to find the time to finish the book. I hate it.

I like the series. It's not as good as his other works, but they are entertaining. Yes the changing perspectives can be annoying, but I think it's a great way to see how the different characters think and why they do what they do.

I didn't really mind the first two as much as the latest one. I really disliked that one.

I've read the first two. I like it so far, and don't mind perspectives changing. It gives you different insights on the story. I also ahve fun going through it and pointing out all the characters which have their basic outline's in other books. Eg. Ara=Polgara=Sephrenia. The strong, mystical, sorceresses that all are quite old, yet young and beautiful, the same sort of dignified and powerful manner, etc. Stuff like that.

Yeah. I have mixed feelings. I thought I didn't like it, but I still got excited last week when I saw that the fourth one is out. I've started reading it. It's ok so far, but it'll probably take me awhile because I'm reading something else first.

I'm on page 85 of the first book, and I am already annoyed by the perspective changes.
