I don't know if this show was very popular while it was on Adult Swim, but I thought it was really good for such a short anime. Not to mention the entirely different style of art than what I was used to.

I didn't really like it...but as it progressed, I got to appreciate it.

...But then when they added the extension to the series, it got really weird. I didn't understand the purpose of the second section; it just seemed to screw up the happy ending of the "first season" (if that's what one would call it.

I don't believe I ever saw the second season(didn't even know there was a 2nd season), but I did like the ending of season 1.

Season 2 had the main character meet up with two "brothers", androids like him, and they team up, and as I said, the ending of that one totally unbalanced the first ending, which was pretty good.

Ooohh! I loved the first season!!

But afterward... It was crappy. Dx
