Horseflies are a very tiny winged mammal that looks like a small horse with butterfly wings. They come in a variety of colors and patterns, are primarily vegetarians, and don't grow to be more than six inches tall. They are very wild and aside from their unique appearance, there is nothing else spectacular about them, aside from the fact that many of them choose to attach themselves to a Hippogryph. They aren't necessarily guardians, but more like companions. Some say that they act as their conscience, others just as a constant part of their lives.
Horseflies can be purchased through special events and flat sales. They will also more than likely appear if you have been role playing with your Gryphon actively because they enjoy the constant friendship.
