name: Sayuri age: Den Mother gender: Female generation: 2 colors: White and black. flock: East mate: None.
At first sight Sayuri seems a plain ordinary white hippogryph with a black mane. But as soon as she turns to look at her viewer and display well pampered wings, she's a unique soul to see. Perfectly crisp, well mannered and she walks as though floating on air. The hairpin in her mane is called a hana kanzashi, more precisely hers is a sakura kanzashi, her favorite one to wear. The kanzashi is in memory of her lost home she speaks of every so often.
She's kind hearted and soft spoken. Her tone is sweet and heavily accented, obviously not from around the local area. She's flown in a long way. She isn't as motherly as she should be, and still has growing up to do. She is a very laid back female, who acts as though there is no rush, as if time runs slowly. She speaks slowly so she is clealy understood, but not annoyingly slow.

May 17, 2006 A seemingly bland gryph came trotting through some area of the eastern area, coming to make acquaintences with another female she'd noticed. Amazing how perfect and graceful her trot was, even as she came to a slow canter, she was still so perfect. A fliud movement into sitting position, then laying.
"Konbanwa." A pleasant smile, her blue eyes gazing at the other female she'd come to visit. Then she furthered her bravery and offered a name: "I am Sayuri... you?" Laying on soft green grass, Neferti was busy cleaning her fur at the time, it had become somewhat dirty when she had clumsily clipped her wing on a tree whilst flying, which cause her to tumble into a patch of dirt.
As she saw the white Hippogryph approach she because immediatly sub-conciously jealous of her looks, and without thinking, Neferti covered the dirtier parts of her fur with her out-streched wings, a faint red blush appearing on her cheeks.
"Hello there" Neferti nodded in reply, meeting Sayuri's blue eyes with her own. "Neferti is my name, I am new to this flock, are you?" Inquired the digi-gryph. Compared to Nefertiri, Sayuri must have looked like a clean freak. Her feathers were in perfect place and fur was next to squeaky clean. As clean as a gryph can keep it, at least. While she appeared so bland, a second look prooves she's far from it. What with her clean crisp look, deep blue eyes, and that weird thing in her hair that looked like flowers!
"Why yes, I am new too." A rather sweet tone, but it didn't sound as though she were from around here. Nor look it. "Am I vary pleased this flock took me in." There was a curt bow of her head, the dangles of her questionable hair piece following gravity with the grateful headbow. Giving the white female a closer look, Neferti had more reason to blush. The other female looked so perfect, the crisp whiteness of her fur to the multicolored patters of Neferti's made the two look completely different next to each other. Neferti even thought her eyes were a prettier blue than her own.
Neferti's tone was harsher than Sayuri's, she sounded so plain and un-interesting. At least that was what she thought. "I too, am glad this flock took me under their wing, and I was too happy to accept one of the roles as a Den Mother, though I am yet to meet any of the chicks..." She looked around as if one might pop up at any moment. If Sayuri could read minds she'd feel a little guilty that the other female was feeling so low on herself! Right now all she cared about was meeting someone to cling to so she didn't feel so alone. A moment of consideration, as if she were in no hurry for anything, "The chicks... yes, I too have not seen any. This flock, is it vary large?" In all honesty, Sayuri didn't even look quite like the motherly type. Was she knew to this whole 'Den Mother' rank? Such a mysterious little female. Neferti was interested to know that the two of them had not seen any chicks. Maybe there were none in the clan afterall! Neferti streched out her for-paws, getting a small cramp from laying on the grass for so long.
She pondered the question about the size of the clan, she hadn't been around for very long, so she couldn't give a real answer to the query. "To be honest with you I have no clue as to the size of the flock, it seems they might be making themselves scarce, or steering clear of us..." The Digi-gryph looked down at her fur, she was no longer ashamed of her looks in front of the gryph. She folded her wings back and began to clean the rest of her fur. Sayuri gave a cheerful chuckle, almost a giggle at Neferti's words. Her front paws crossed one over the other, both hind legs off to one side. A wonderfully relaxed pose. She shakes her head, little hairclip giving off a pleasant jingle noise as it moves.
"I think they all are just asleep, it is late afteh' all." Asian accented gryph spoke slow, trying to sound clear, as always. Kinda' cute. Or just enigmatic. To each their own opinion of this rather odd gryph. Sayuri's head turned this way and that, as if looking for the sleeping grounds of the chicks. "We cen look tomarrow for the chicks, introduce our-selves. I am sure they are not avoiding us, we just do not know whar to look!"
Eyes settle on Neferti after her little scan, smiling again. "So whe' are you from?" Neferti only stopped for a moment to explain where she was from, she was almost clean of the dirt, and would feel much better once she was. "I am from... well... not really from around here... its complicated, I might explain it later, but right now I am getting tired. Are you from anywhere interesting?"
Neferti truely was, she had been lying in the sun for the past hour or two, trying to get rid of the dirt that covered part of her white fur, and the golden suns delicate rays had made her drowzy, so much so that she was thinking about walking back to her nest, rather than fly. Relaxed gryph offered that ever-sweet smile, and a little nod, "I think it was a beauti-ful place, with meny sakura trees and pritty lakes." She seemed to float off into dreamland, reminicing her former home. Then snapped out of it quickly. "But my home was ru-ined so I haff come here."
Flying.. Sayiru didn't do very much of that! That may be obvious by the looks of it, as well. Neferti looked puzzled when she said that her home was had alot of Sakura trees... whatever those were! "It's a pitty it was ruined." Came a small reply from the digi-gryph, she had finally rid her fur of the dirt and was now concered with making her way home.
"Sayuri, it was nice meeting you, perhaps we will cross paths again.. right now its getting late, I am sleepy, you understand." Neferti rose from the grass, shaking her main and the rest of the body to remove any grass that had attached to her whilst she was laying on the grass. She gave a nod to the white Gryph, a silent goodbye. With that, Neferti trotted off to her nest. Sayuri looked a little confsued at the sudden departure, "I understand. Good night." Did she upset them somehow? She wasn't even sure if Neferti had heard her, but at least it was said.
Nest? Well, Sayuri didn't quite make herself one just yet, so she lowered her head on front paws and attempted to reach that land of sleep under the stars. No use in laying there being paranoid, better to just sleep!
