I heard recently that Dubya recently said that he thinks his brother, Jeb Bush would make 'A fine leader for this country'. And that he supported him fora run for presidency.
Alright, I usually try not to thinkin terms of huge consperacy theories.....
BUT COME THE F* ON!
This just seems to be falling right into place....
florida magically recounts to give Bush the election while Jeb Bush is in the seat of power down there. Now that Bush is reaching the end of his rope, having no ability to be relected I mean, suddenly he says, "hey, lets put my brother in office, he'll do just as good as me!".
Is it just me or does this seem to be a you scratch my back, I sratch yours situation?

Why are you listening to a guy with a 29% approval rating? It's not like many people are going to support him if he says its a good idea.

the thing about the Bush family (the younger generation of them (go Senior bushes)) is that they do not know what the public truly wants... They do not want Jeb, but Bush, who has proudly proclaimed he doesnt read the news, will never know that

It's possible, but that doesn't mean it's a threat. After the '00 election debacle down there, and Dubya's approval rating, the people don't want Jeb, trust me.
In fact, forget the people. The Republican party has no interest in the man. He'd never even get past the primaries, if in fact he was stupid enough to run.

Even if you hate Bush, my limited experience with Jeb has been good, though admittedly I don't know too much about him. Having said that, this election is going to be a mess. I think both parties are going to be split. Hilary won't win the primary, but she will probably run anyways. Mit Romney is likely to lose the Republican primary, but the LDS (Mormon) votes will end up going to him anyways. There's always Condy Rice, but she's not likely to run. There's Jeb Bush. Who knows what is going to happen.

Flemavenger Even if you hate Bush, my limited experience with Jeb has been good, though admittedly I don't know too much about him. I would say he should never be allowed anywhere near public office ever again because of his flagrant contempt for U.S. Federal Law, as demonstrated during the Schiavo debacle.

He's pulled some off s**t, but I like him better than any other candidates I see poking their greasy little noses into the election buzz.

Cheney himself would be a better candidate; at least he's honest about his evil. McCain has demonstrated a willingness to change any of his core positions and suck up to people he's previously stood completely opposite to if it'll get him a few more points in the polls. I oppose Hillary for similar reasons, though she has so far been less flagrant about it.

They do not want Jeb, but Bush, who has proudly proclaimed he doesnt read the news, will never know that In 2012, if a democrat is in office, then Jeb has actually a good chance. He already won Florida in his governor race after the problems in 2000, and has a better chance not only with the base, but with the Hispanic vote, partly because of who his wife is.

Utterly repugnant, but completley legal.
That, and it's to be expected from the Bush family, afterall.

Even if Jeb did run, he wouldn't win the primary. I think people would scream "MONARCHY!" if he did run, anyway.

I'm not very suprised. If I was Bush I'd also want my brother elected because... Well. He'd be my brother. Besides it would mean George could still get stuff through. I don't see how it's corrupt.
So I'll give you an example of corrupt:
Labour Party is best friends with the trade union. When Labour Party wanted something done that the trade union didn't like, they threatened to withhold some millions of support. All of a sudden Labour Party changed their view on the case. Weird, isn't it? Labour Party and the trade unions go hand in hand. The trade unions owns like half the newspapers in Norway, and sits in the boards and owns stocks in many more, and radiostations, and TV-stations. Then suddenly the minister of culture (from Labour Party) wanted to change a law that would mean the trade union could buy the rest of the Norwegian media. How neat!
Recently the former Prime minister from Christian People's Party said they should co-operate with Labour Party in the future. Days before the new goverment gave him 2 millions over two years in a new post on the budget to "help former prime ministers that don't return to parliament help to get him back on his feet". Well... You would think that having prime minister on your CV should help a bit, but no. Incidently the former prime minister has one of the leaders of Labour Party (and the president of parliament) in the board of his newly established peace-center.
So... Wanting his brother to be the president isn't exactly corruption. Although I can see how one could get suspicious of a state suddenly changing a lot like that. But that could happen everywhere, so it might be a coincidence, and not cheating.
