The other day, I went to the Wildlife park in San Diego and there was a pond filled with giant catfish. They were huge, and the pond was just filled with them, I must've seen 10 or so in a few minutes. Anyway the first thought that came in my head was, "Good thing Durnik's not here, we wouldn't be able to drag him away." I was serious, too. It took me a second to remember he was a fictional character. sweatdrop Has anyone ever done that? Think or talk as if you personally know the characters? It's pretty funny when it happens (yes, it's happened more than once.)

It's odd. Whenever I'm acting as another person (rp'ing/acting) I think about Silk and try to emulate he's intelligently created characters.

Yes, I've done that.
I went on a ship for a while last summer and thought, "Thank goodness Layla isn't here."

Something like that, my friend Chistina happens to be the only natural redhead girl I know and while reading the Belgariad and Mallorean I would constanly refer to her as Ce Nedra by mistake. And since she never read the books, she was constantly confused.

lol! Yes, I do that all the time. I talk to the books I'm reading as well - it's most embarrassing when something really exciting is happening, and you're yelling at the characters to hurry up or whatever, and someone says to you, "Dude. You've read that books a hundred times already. You know how it ends."

I want something to happen differently than it does so the ending will change.

I walk out of study hall, after puting away the book and there is this girl. She's shorter then me and very thin, built like a little girl. Flameing red curls curls and more curls!Feaks me out everytime I see here. Now all teh time I see here.
She must think I'm strange.
I Laugh whenever I say "trust me." Someone the other day said "That's impossible." I nearly fell off my chair....

As I recall, when I first read the books I was obsessed, but I got it out in socially-acceptable ways, because one of my best friends was reading them too, so we'd just go off, everyone else just like, "Ugh, whatever" and going to talk about something else. XD I do often find myself wearing a mental WWSD ("What Would Silk Do?") bracelet. I also mutter to books as I read, usually about emotional things like, "Relg! Deal! A gorgeous woman wants to sleep with you and you're complaining?!" or "Therapy, Silk. Therapy."
