Okay, I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but Link grew an earring in OoT. Yes, he did. When he was young Link he had no earrings. Correct? As adult Link he had an earring. Tell me if you think so.

*laughs* I wouldn't say that he "grew" an earring, per se, but yes, I did notice that one mysteriously made its way into his ear while he was stuck in the Shrine of Sages (or whatever).

Link actually has two earrings in OoT. And I highly doubt they grew there.

it's sad. i mean, it's hard to picture the older link as the younger link, ya know? He like peirces his ears. But I think that he was living in the 7 years, but he doesn't remember it and he was living without a soul, you know?

I'll bet Navi just got really bored waiting for Link to wake up. They were there for like 7 years. She probably wanted to try to pierce Link's ears just to pass the time. Then she went out and bought him some earings.

Hello sis. It's wierd though that the earring just "appeared"...I don't think that Navi pierced his ear, but it could have happened...I honestly have no idea how it got there...

In the manga, when he beats Shadow Link in Kakariko village, Impa puts the earrings on his ears, and tells him that it's a rite of passage for young Sheikah men. Even though he's not a Sheikah, she gives it to him anyways. >.>
